We are truly sorry to hear about the loneliness, exclusion, and depression. Before we pray together, let's remember the words of King David, who often felt alone and in despair. He cried out to God in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we are thankful that Jesus Christ and His name was mentioned in the prayer. It is only by the Name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave himself a ransom for all." 1 Timothy 2:5,6
It's important to remember that God loves and values each one of us. He is the ultimate source of comfort and companionship. Even when it feels like everyone else has turned their back, God is always present, always loving, and always faithful. Let us say with the Psalmist in Psalm 27:10, "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up."
Regarding family, let us not forget what the Apostle Paul said in Romans 12:18 "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.” God desires that families live in peace and harmony, but sometimes our relatives might not live up to these expectations. We should do our part to maintain peace, but also understand that we cannot control the actions of others.
It's also crucial to address the anger and the urge to destroy things. While these emotions are understandable, they can be dangerous and harmful. We must remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's okay to feel angry, but it's important to express that anger in a way that is healthy and not harmful.
We understand the frustration from a lack of financial resources. It is important to bring this to the Lord as well. The Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:6,7 "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up this beloved child who is feeling lonely, excluded, and depressed. We ask, Lord, that you would comfort and strengthen, reminding that you are always present and always loving.
Help to feel your peace, Lord, even in these difficult circumstances. Help to forgive those who have caused pain, and help to reach out in love, even when others do not reciprocate.
We ask that you would provide for every need, Lord. Open up opportunities for work and for financial provision. Help to be a good steward of the resources you provide.
Help to turn away from anger and from the urge to destroy things. Help to express these feelings in a healthy way, and to find healing and restoration.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that you would surround with a community of believers who can encourage, support, and uplift. Help to find a church family where can feel loved, valued, and valued.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
We encourage to continue to reach out to God in prayer, to study His Word, and to seek fellowship with other believers. We will be praying for you.
