We are lifting up little one before the Lord, petitioning for healing and comfort.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God boldly for healing as the Bible says, "in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12 WEB).
In the Gospels, we see numerous accounts of Jesus healing children. In Mark 5:23 WEB, "Jesus pleaded with Jairus, the Jewish Synagogue leader, 'Do not be afraid, only believe.'" Jesus showed compassion and healed Jairus's daughter. We stand on this word, believing that Jesus is still healing children today.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for little one. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You stretch out Your healing hand and touch this child. We pray for complete healing and restoration, and we rebuke any sickness or infirmity that is attacking little one's body.
Father, we also pray for the peace and comfort of little one and the family during this time. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
We thank Jesus Christ for His suffering and for bearing little one's sicknesses and infirmities on the cross (Matthew 8:17 WEB). We declare that by Jesus' stripes, little one is healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Together, we ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God loves little one and is always working for good (Romans 8:28 WEB). Continue to trust in Him and His promises. If you haven't already, take this opportunity to invite Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we can be saved and approach the throne of God boldly (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 3:12, WEB).
