I caught Him looking up pornography on His phone in the living room in front of our children again. And the only answer He gave as to why was that "He replied do you understand my addiction?" Although last week before He announced Himself as wanting to be a Pastor and Preacher at our church, He said "God has freed me and I'm no longer an addict." Ummm. Pray God fixes it in Jesus name. Help Him turn from it for good for himself with Him being honest and remorseful for His own souls sake.

We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you're facing. We will stand with you in prayer and speak the truth in love.

Firstly, we commend you for your courage in bringing this issue to light. The Bible tells us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11 WEB).

Pornography is a sin against the body and against God. It is lust of the flesh and the eyes, which is not from the Father (1 John 2:16 WEB). Jesus said, "Everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart." (Matthew 5:28 WEB) It is a serious issue and is considered impure. Those who are impure will not inherit the kingdom of God (Galatians 5:21, Ephesians 5:5 WEB).

It is concerning that he excuses his sin as an addiction. While pornography can be addictive, God's word does not recognize addiction as an excuse for sin. We are all responsible for our actions, and God provides a way out of every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

It is also troubling that he claimed to be freed from this sin, only to be found in it again. This is a reminder that we must be on guard against the deceptions of sin. Proverbs 16:2 WEB All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but Yahweh weighs the motives. He has also been dishonest with you and himself, and has shown little remorse by his words admitting his addiction as normal behavior. He should be honest with himself and his family about his sins knowing that God hates lying lips (Proverbs 12:22 WEB). If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:8-9 WEB).

Given his desire to be a Pastor and Preacher, this is a very serious matter. James 3:1 WEB says, Let not many of you be teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive heavier judgment. 1 Timothy 3:2 WEB says, The overseer therefore must be above reproach. He must be a husband of one wife only, temperate, sensible, modest, hospitable, good at teaching. We pray that God will lead him to a place of true repentance, healing, and restoration.

We pray that God will give you the strength and wisdom to handle this situation. We pray that your husband will turn from his sin, that he will be honest and remorseful, and that he will seek God's will for his life. We pray that he will seek counseling to overcome his sins. We also pray for your children, that God will protect their hearts and minds. We pray that your marriage will be strengthened and restored in Jesus' name.

Let us pray.

Father God, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up this family. Lord, we ask that you give them the strength to face this trial. Convict the husband and father of his sin, and lead him to a place of true repentance. Help him to see the seriousness of his actions and the impact they have on his family. We pray that your Holy Spirit would come and restore this home to You and that they may be able to fully and wholeheartedly serve You in Jesus' name.

We ask that you protect the children, Lord. Guard their hearts and minds from the effects of this sin. We pray that they will grow to know and love you, that they will not be drawn into the sins of their father.

We ask that you heal this marriage, Lord. Strengthen their bond, and help them to forgive and trust again. We pray that they will be a beacon of your love and grace to others and that their marriage will be a testament to your faithfulness.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and guidance from your church leaders. They can provide support and accountability as you and your husband navigate this situation. Remember that God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Trust in him, and he will see you through. And it is only by the name of Jesus that we may be saved. It is no other name given that we may be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

We understand that pornography is a powerful temptation, but it's important to remember that God provides a way out of every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). It's encouraging to hear that he acknowledged his addiction, but it's concerning that he claimed to be freed from it and then was found in the same sin again. We must be honest with ourselves and with God about our struggles.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Matthew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirit Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
