We understand that you have a lot on your plate regarding the issues surrounding the bill and the harsh responses you're encountering. It's commendable that you have a heart for those who are disabled, sick, and in need of assistance. The Bible encourages us to care for the needy and to love our neighbors as ourselves.
As it is written in Matthew 25:35-40 WEB:
For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.ā "Then the righteous will answer him, saying, āLord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?ā "The King will answer them, āMost certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.ā
Regarding work, the Bible teaches that if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat. However, this applies to those who are able to work but refuse to do so.
We read in 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB:
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: "If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat."
It's important to remember that God cares for each one of us, and He wants us to trust Him in all circumstances. We are here to encourage you to seek His will and guidance in your job search and in your interactions with others.
We also encourage you to pray for the president and all those in authority, that God would give them wisdom and compassion to govern with justice and mercy.
As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 WEB:
First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, requests, and thanksgivings be made for all people; for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing many challenges. Lord, we ask that You guide him in his job search and provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray for those who are disabled, sick, and in need, that You would minister to them and provide for their needs. We also pray for the president and all those in authority, that You would give them a heart of compassion and wisdom to govern with justice and mercy. Help us all to trust in You and to love our neighbors as ourselves. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to gently remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
