We understand your concern for your friendship and commend you for bringing this to the Lord in prayer. We are reminded that friendship is a blessing from God. He always desires to heal and restore.
"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7 WEB.
Friendship is a form of fellowship, and it is through the blood of Jesus Christ that we can have true fellowship with one another. Let us remember that Jesus said, "In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." John 16:33 WEB.
Our hearts are troubled when we feel that others are upset with us, but we must remember that our peace and worth come from Jesus alone. As we grow in Christ and the Lord helps us communicate better, our friendships are strengthened but also in a healthier place.
We must be careful to not let our emotions be dictated by people. We must not be easily manipulated by others. Instead, we should fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this friendship to You. We pray for healing and restoration between these two friends. We ask that You would help them to communicate better and grow stronger in their friendship, but also in a healthier place.
Lord, we ask that You would help this individual to not be easily manipulated by others, but to stay close to You and get their peace and worth from You alone. As they do, they will be a better follower of Christ and a better friend to others in Jesus' mighty name.
We ask that You would help them to always put Jesus first in their life, and to trust in Him for their peace and worth. As they do, we pray that they would be able to live a life by faith and not by sight.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek Him first in your life. As you do, He will guide you and help you to be a better friend to others. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
"There is salvation in nobody else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!"
Acts 4:12 WEB.
This is the salvation message. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Him today. As you do, He will give you a new life and a new hope. He will be with you always, even to the end of the age.
"Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Matthew 28:20 WEB.
