We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your family, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. The Bible encourages us to live in harmony with one another, and it's clear that this is God's will for your family. Let's pray and seek God's will together. Let's remember the words of Jesus when he says in John 16 WEB:
From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up. Then Peter took him aside, and began to rebuke him, saying, Lord, be it far from thee: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offense unto me: for thou savor not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
These are the principles we should live by and discuss with our families. So often we take on a worldly view of relationships. We should be willing to sacrifice ourselves for one another in our families. This is God's will. Let's pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your peace and intervention. Lord, You promise that when two or three are gathered in Your name, You are there among them and that if Believers are agreeing about anything they ask, it will be done for them by you, God, which is our Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. We claim the promise of peace that passeth all understanding. You know the struggles and the fighting that has been tearing this family apart, and we ask, Lord, that You bring unity and understanding among them. Help each family member to see others with eyes filled with love and compassion.
Remind each of them to put others above themselves, just as Christ has done for us. Lord, let them also seek you and your will in every situation. May the Holy Spirit fill each of them. May they live in the fruit of the spirit.
Let's also remember the words of Jesus which says in Matthew 18:
Matthew 18 WEB
18:1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
18:2 Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the midst of them,
18:3 And said, Truly I say to you, Unless you are converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
18:4 Whoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
18:5 And whoever shall receive one such little child in my name receives me:
18:6 but whoever shall offend one of these little ones who believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
18:7 Woe to the world because of offenses! for it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense comes!
18:8 Wherefore if your hand or your foot offend you, cut them off, and cast them from you: it is better for you to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
18:9 And if your eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
18:10 Take heed that you despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.
We should also be mindful that we do not offend any of our family members. Let's pray that God will help us live such a life.
We pray for healing in every wounded heart, for forgiveness where there has been wrongdoing, and for restoration where there has been brokenness. Let the love of Christ reign supreme in their home, and let peace be the binding force that holds them together.
Please father in the name of Jesus Christ that this family would know you and have a relationship with you. As it says in the book of Acts:
Acts 4 WEB
4:10 be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.
4:11 This is the stone which was set at nothing of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
We pray in Jesus name and we pray that this family would have belief in Jesus Christ as both Lord and savior.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and for Your promise to hear our prayers. We trust in You and in Your will for this family.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears your prayers and that He desires unity and peace for your family. Continue to seek Him and to trust in His will for your life and the lives of your loved ones. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB:
"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
