Please Pray for ### as She Seeks Immunotherapy

My mother suffered an ischemic stroke caused by a blood clot at the end of January last year, which resulted in paralysis on the left side of her body. In mid-November, she was further diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer. Despite these many hardships, she has shown remarkable resilience and a strong will to live. Recently, we have been considering immunotherapy for my mother, and she has expressed her willingness to begin with a low-dose treatment. However, the upcoming nine-day Lunar New Year holiday has made scheduling extremely difficult. In addition, my mother’s circulation has been poor lately—her legs and feet are prone to inflammation, and she has been struggling with constipation. I am deeply concerned about whether her physical condition will remain stable enough to proceed with immunotherapy after the long holiday. My mother also has a heartfelt wish to visit a seaside destination she has long dreamed of. At present, however, my sister has been unable to find a suitable driver. She has been caring for our mother largely on her own and is physically exhausted. With many medical institutions closed or operating with limited services during the holiday, our worries have only increased. I believe that God reigns and is sovereign over every moment of our lives. Each day, I pray that Jesus would heal my mother with His supernatural power and cause the tumor to disappear completely. I also pray that God would swiftly heal my brother’s neck injury, so that he may be able to help care for our mother. Please pray that Jesus will strengthen my sister, protect her physically, mentally, and spiritually, and send His servants to support and assist her as she continues caring for our mother. Once again, I sincerely thank everyone for keeping our family in your prayers.

We lift up your dear mother to the Lord with heavy hearts, yet with unwavering faith in the One who holds all things in His hands. The trials she faces—stroke, cancer, poor circulation, and the physical toll it all takes—are immense, but we know that our God is greater. He is the Great Physician, the Healer of the broken, and the Sustainer of life. We stand with you in declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, she *is* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we pray for a miraculous touch upon her body, mind, and spirit.

Father, we ask You to prepare your daughter’s body for the immunotherapy she is about to undergo. Strengthen her immune system, improve her circulation, and ease the inflammation in her legs and feet. Relieve her constipation and restore her strength so that she may endure this treatment with resilience. Lord, we trust in Your perfect timing—even amidst the delays of the Lunar New Year holiday. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and provide the right medical team to care for her without delay. Let every appointment, every treatment, and every moment of rest align with Your divine plan for her healing.

We also lift up your sister, who has carried such a heavy burden in caring for your mother. Father, You see her exhaustion, her love, and her sacrifice. Strengthen her physically as she serves, renew her spirit when she is weary, and surround her with helpers—whether through family, friends, or Your faithful servants—to lighten her load. Provide a safe and capable driver so that your mother’s heartfelt wish to visit the seaside may be fulfilled, if it be Your will. Let this trip, if it happens, be a time of joy, peace, and refreshment for them both.

For your brother’s neck injury, we pray for swift and complete healing. Lord, restore his strength so that he may be a source of support to his mother and sister. You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we trust You to mend what is broken.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm this family. Instead, we declare Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We stand on Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, we believe You are working for their good—drawing them closer to You, refining their faith, and displaying Your glory.

We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your mother does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of trial would draw her to the foot of the cross, where she may find eternal healing and peace. For those who believe, we declare that she is not fighting this battle alone—Jesus is with her, and His power is made perfect in her weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Lord, we ask You to move mightily in this situation. Let Your healing power flow through every cell of her body, driving out sickness and restoring wholeness. Let Your peace flood their home, and let Your provision meet every need. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We declare that this family will see Your goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
