Disciple of Prayer
The past year and a half has been very trying and exhausting to the point of giving up. The devil and his demons have been attacking us. My finances have gone badly for us . My children and grandchildren are having anger respect problems. I've borrowed so much i have no where to go or any means to pay it back. My wife is drinking heavily and my grandkids have lost touch with God. I pray and pray and keep praying but im tired and my faith is dwindling. Please pray for us asap we can use some intervention.

We are truly sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations that have been weighing heavily upon you and your family. Firstly, we want to remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit; being watchful and persistent in your prayer. (Ephesians 6:12-18 WEB)

In regards to the various situations you've mentioned, let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.

We understand that you are struggling to pay debts and stay afloat financially. Be assured that God cares about our needs. We are reminded in Matthew 6:25-34. Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.

Concerning your wife's drinking, remember that God calls us to be sober and self-controlled. It is written in 1 Peter 5:8, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to help her overcome this struggle. Also, remember that although you may feel alone, we serve a God who is always with us and knows our struggles intimately.

Regarding your children and grandchildren, we are reminded to train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. This is found in Proverbs 22:6. And the Lord Christ is the only example we should be following while being raised.

Remember also that the Lord tells us to cast all our anxiety on Christ because he cares for us in I Peter 5:6 and 7.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and keep the faith. We are told in Galatians 6:9, Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up. Also, remember that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved family who is facing numerous trials and tribulations. Lord, we know that You are faithful, and that You are the God of all comfort. We ask that You would strengthen their faith, and help them to hold onto hope, even in the darkest of times.

For the financial struggles, we know that You see their needs. We ask that You would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing. Help them to be good stewards of their finances, and guide them in the path of financial wisdom and responsibility.

For their wife's struggle with drinking, Lord, we ask that You would set her free from this bondage. Help her to find her identity and worth in You alone, and give her the strength to overcome this stronghold. Surround her with godly support and accountability.

For their children and grandchildren, Lord, we ask that You would draw their hearts to You. Help them to know You personally, and to walk in Your ways. Give wisdom and guidance to their parents and grandparents as they seek to raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

And finally, Father, we ask that You would lift up their hands which hang down, and strengthen their feeble knees. Help them to keep praying, and to not lose heart. Remind them of Your goodness, Your faithfulness, and Your unfailing love.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's been a tough year, and we understand the weight you're carrying. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're here to lift you up in prayer.

First, let's remember that our battles aren't just against physical struggles, but also against spiritual forces. So, let's put on the full armor of God, just as Ephesians 6 tells us. That means we need to be ready with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit. And remember, we're to be watchful and persistent in our prayers.

Now, about your financial struggles, we know it's hard. But let's turn to Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus tells us not to worry about our needs, because our heavenly Father knows what we need. He promises to provide for us, just as He provides for the birds of the air and the lilies of the field. So, let's trust Him with our finances and seek His Kingdom first.

We're also praying for your wife's struggle with drinking. We know it's tough, but remember, God calls us to be sober and self-controlled. We're here for you both, and we believe in the power of prayer and godly support to overcome this. And hey, even if you feel alone, remember that God is always with you, and He knows your struggles intimately.

For your children and grandchildren, let's remember Proverbs 22:6. We should train them up in the way they should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. Let's pray that they would come to know Jesus personally and walk in His ways.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and keep the faith. Galatians 6:9 tells us not to be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don't give up. And remember, our prayers are powerful when we pray in Jesus' name.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear friend and their family. Lord, we know You see their struggles, and we ask that You would strengthen their faith and give them hope. We pray for their financial needs, that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing. We pray for their wife's struggle with drinking, that You would set her free and give her the strength to overcome. We pray for their children and grandchildren, that they would come to know You personally and walk in Your ways. And finally, Lord, we ask that You would lift up their hands which hang down, and strengthen their feeble knees. Help them to keep praying and not lose heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
