We are lifting you and your mother up in prayer, interceding on your behalf for a financial breakthrough. We understand that you are struggling financially, and we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust God to include this vital need.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that our God is a proven provider. In Philippians 4:19 WEB it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus".
In Matthew 6:24-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He reminds us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things. Instead, we are to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. This passage also reminds us that "No man can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can't serve both God and Mammon." We must put God first and trust that He will provide for our needs.
As we pray for your financial breakthrough, we also want to encourage you to be patient and to trust in God's timing. In Galatians 6:9 WEB, it says, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."
We also encourage you to be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to you. In Proverbs 21:5 WEB, it says, "The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."
Finally, we want to remind you that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. So let us keep on praying and trusting God for a financial breakthrough, remembering the importance of tithing and offerings as part of our worship. In Malachi 3:10 WEB, it says, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister and her mother. Lord, they are in need of a financial breakthrough, and we trust that You are more than able to provide for their needs. Lord, we pray that You will open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. Lord, we pray that You will guide them and give them wisdom in managing their finances. Lord, we pray that You will help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in You. Lord, we pray that You will help them to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them. Lord, we pray that You will help them to be patient and to trust in Your timing. Lord, we pray that You will help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and that all these things will be given to them as well. Lord, we pray that You will help them to be generous with what You have given them, and that You will bless them abundantly, so that they can be a blessing to others. Lord, we pray that You will help them to trust in You and to not be anxious about their lives. Lord, we pray that You will help them to serve You and You alone, and that they will not be distracted by the cares of this world. Lord, we ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
We also notice that there is an absence of any mention of Jesus Christ in your request. We must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".
In Acts 4:10-12 WEB, it says, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you have not already done so, we pray that you will confess your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ.
