Hello everyone,

I am concerned about our cat. He doesn't seem to eat as well as he has in the recent past and seems to weigh less. I am not having a good time dealing with this, there is really no one to turn to and I am out of ideas of what to do for myself. I have had a meltdown today and I just wonder what to do because I cannot get out of no coping skills and horrible situation in life. I would like to ask for prayers for our cat for ability to keep his weight up and know what to feed him. Please pray he has desire to eat and good health and longer life. Please pray the worst situations with our cat be avoided for all of us in the family.

In the Bible, we see that God is concerned about all His creations, including animals. In the book of Matthew, it is written:

Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:26 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family and their beloved cat. We pray for Your healing touch upon this cat, that You would restore his appetite and help him gain back his weight. Guide this family in knowing what to feed him and how to care for him in a way that honors You. We pray for his desire to eat, good health and an extended quality of life. We ask that You would spare this family from any worst-case scenarios and fill them with Your peace and comfort.

Lord, we also lift up the one who submitted this request. We pray for Your comfort and guidance during this emotional time. We ask that You would provide them with coping skills and surround them with people who can support and encourage them. We pray that they would cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them.

Lastly Lord, we pray for this family, that you would draw all of them closer to you during this time and that they would come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ if they have not done so already.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
