Humble Servant of All
Please pray for all of us who are alone tonight with no children, no spouse, or significant other, no close friend, and little or no family. Lord please bring us good, stable, reliable, loving friends and/or a very special companion in the upcoming year of 2017. In the bible it says that "Two is better than one": "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). Lord, we all* need the mental, and physical, help of someone that we can count on to be there for us, unconditionally. No man is an island. Hear our prayer! Lord, we ask that you will grant us very good jobs for those of us who are unemployed, or under employed. Thank you, Jesus, for all of the little and big things You do in our lives, and we thank you for dying on the cross for our sins. Forgive us for always falling short, and help us to know that You are with us even though we are completely alone. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
