Please pray for all Christians of the world

Beloved of All
Lord, may all Christians in the world accept this gift. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Here is a gift for all Christians in the world: How To Easily Improve Memory & Attention | The Authentic Pythagorean Method. Before going to sleep (7 minutes): 1. Close your eyes and quickly review the main events of the day. 2. Then reflect: What did I do wrong today? What did I accomplish? What did I fail to do? 3. Next, take pride in your good deeds. Reproach yourself for the bad ones. Developing attention and memory.

All Things Working Together for Good
God turns every hardship into salvation for those who follow him and asks us to trust his purpose in all things.
We join with you in lifting up all Christians throughout the world before the throne of grace and we thank you for your heart to see the body of Christ strengthened and encouraged in Jesus name.

We appreciate your desire to share a helpful practice for memory and attention and we agree that taking time each evening to reflect is valuable when it is done before the Lord. Scripture itself calls us to this kind of examination. Lamentations 3:40 says Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh. And 2 Corinthians 13:5 says Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Psalm 139:23-24 says Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

We do want to gently correct one part of the method you shared as it does not fully align with biblical principles. You mention to take pride in your good deeds. The Word warns us that pride leads us away from dependence on God. Proverbs 16:18 says Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. And 1 Corinthians 1:31 says He who boasts, let him boast in the Lord. When we do what is good it is by the grace of God working in us, so we give thanks to Him rather than taking pride in ourselves. In the same way when we reproach ourselves for what we have done wrong, we are called not to remain in self condemnation but to confess our sins to God who forgives us. 1 John 1:9 says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The practice of reviewing the day can become a beautiful time of prayer when we invite the Holy Spirit to show us what was pleasing to God and what needs repentance, and when we ask for wisdom for the next day. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him. Romans 12:2 says Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well pleasing, and perfect will of God. And Philippians 4:8 says Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things. Developing our attention and memory is good stewardship of the mind God has given us, especially when we use it to remember His Word and His faithfulness.

We rejoice that you asked this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We pray together now for all Christians of the world. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up every believer in every nation. We ask that You would strengthen Your church, keep us in unity and love, and help us to walk worthy of the calling You have given us. Pour out Your wisdom and discernment upon Your people, renew our minds by Your Word, and help us to remember Your promises and Your mercies each day. Teach us to examine our hearts humbly before You each evening, to confess our sins and receive Your forgiveness, and to give You all the glory for any good that is done through us. Guard Your people from pride and self reliance and draw us into deeper dependence on Christ. Help us to be attentive to Your voice, to be faithful in small things, and to grow in the knowledge of Your Son. May all Christians know Your peace, be filled with Your Spirit, and shine as lights in this world for Your glory. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We appreciate your heart for Christians around the world and your desire to share something you have found helpful. Wanting believers everywhere to grow in attention and clarity is a kind and generous impulse, and we join you in praying for the wider family of faith.

What you describe as an evening review has a familiar shape in Christian life. For centuries believers have practiced a quiet pause at the end of the day to look back, notice what was good, acknowledge where we fell short, and bring it all to God. When that kind of reflection is done gently and consistently, it can become a form of training rather than just trying hard for a quick change. Small, faithful moments over time tend to shape our attention and character more than any single exercise, and they help us see ourselves as works in progress who are still being formed.

If you continue this practice, it may help to keep the focus on walking honestly with the Lord, thanking Him for what was good and asking for His help where you want to grow, rather than staying in self reproach.

We are praying with you for believers everywhere to know God's grace and to be strengthened for each day.

Father, we lift up Christians around the world to You. Draw each one closer to Yourself, give wisdom, peace and steady hope, and help us all to grow in love for You and for one another. Guide us as we seek to use our minds and days well for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your desire for the people of God is itself a sign of grace at work within you, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts. You have asked that we should pray for all Christians throughout the world, that they might receive what you have set before them as a gift for the strengthening of memory and attention, and you have asked it in the name of Jesus Christ. We count it a holy privilege to join you in such supplication.

We are taught that intercession is a part of the priestly office of Christ, who has ascended within the veil to make intercession for His people continually, and when we pray for our fellow sinners and fellow saints we are in sympathy with our Divine Savior. Samuel said, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you, and Jeremiah shows us the beauty of a true intercessor who is quick to seize every advantage when pleading with God. There is no power like that of intercession, for the secret springs that move the affairs of earth are often the prayers of God's believing people. Therefore we will not cease to pray for the household of faith.

We pray now for the unity and welfare of all who are in Christ Jesus. We do not pray for a unity of evil or of superstition, but for that unity of the Spirit which is sustained daily by the Spirit of God as He infuses life into the one mystical body. May the Lord keep His people in the bond of peace, and make manifest among them that holy unity for which our Savior prayed on the night of His trial, a unity priceless beyond all price. And we remember that the Holy Spirit Himself maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God, helping our infirmities when we know not what we should pray for as we ought. So we ask that He would guide our prayers and make them acceptable.

Concerning the gift of which you speak, this daily exercise before sleep of closing the eyes and reviewing the events of the day, asking what was done wrong, what was accomplished, what was left undone, and then taking reproach for the evil and encouragement for the good, we may say that such sober reflection is not without profit. Scripture calls us to commune with our own hearts upon our beds, and to hold this world with a loose hand, learning to die daily and to have our affairs in such a condition that we are ready to meet our Lord. Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits, and it is fitting that we should daily remember those benefits with praise and with humble self examination. If attention and memory are thereby strengthened, let that strength be used not for vanity, but for the better remembrance of God's Word, His mercies, and His commandments. Let us pray that whatever lawful help is offered for the mind may be sanctified to the soul's profit.

Our prayer therefore is this. O Lord our God, who art the God of our salvation and unto whom belong the issues from death, look in mercy upon all Thy people scattered throughout the earth, of every tongue and tribe who call upon the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, for there is salvation in no other. Keep them in Thy truth, build them up in faith and love, and keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Daily load them with Thy benefits, and teach them daily to bless Thy name with praise and submission. Grant them attentive hearts to hear Thy voice, and faithful memories to retain Thy Word and to walk therein. Forgive their daily failings, strengthen them for daily duties, and make them ready for that last sleep from which they shall awake in Thy likeness. Help us all to watch with diligence that we keep that which Thou hast wrought, and to abound in intercession for one another until Thou shalt make us one perfect body in Christ.

We ask this not for our worthiness, but in the name and through the intercession of Jesus Christ our great High Priest, who ever liveth to plead for us. Amen.
