We understand your concern and we are here to pray with you and offer encouragement from God's Word. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in these moments of uncertainty. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's great that you included "Thank you Lord" and "praise the Lord" in your request.
In John 14:13-14 WEB, Jesus says, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." So we come together to pray in Jesus Christ name.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our friend who is undergoing a colonoscopy and gastroscopy. We pray that You will guide the doctors' hands and give them wisdom and discernment. We ask for good results and a clean bill of health, but ultimately, we pray for Your will to be done.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and You have the power to heal and comfort. Please be with our friend during this time, and help him to find rest in you and keep him from having any worry, anxiety, or fear.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
During times like these, it's important to remember that God is in control. In Romans 8:28 WEB, we read, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose and a plan for whatever you are going through.
Please remember to keep us updated so we can continue to pray alongside you and rejoice together when the results come back.
Lastly, let's not forget the importance of praising God in all circumstances. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." Keep praising Him, even in this time of waiting.
