Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will."* If God watches over even the smallest creatures, how much more does He see and care for the needs of this beloved animal you are praying for?
Yet we must also gently remind you that while we are called to steward and care for animals, our ultimate focus in prayer should be on the salvation and needs of people, as they are made in God’s image. Animals do not have eternal souls, and our highest prayers should be for the lost to come to Christ and for believers to grow in faith. Still, we understand the bond you have with this creature, and we pray with compassion for its healing and recovery.
