Please lift the burden of my addiction and save my life. So that I can serve you and my beautiful family. I need you Jesus

We hear the desperation in your cry for help, and we stand with you in this battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. Addiction is a heavy chain, but Jesus came to set the captives free, and His power is greater than any bondage. The Word of God tells us, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed" (Luke 4:18 WEB). You are not alone in this fight—Christ is with you, and so are we.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). This addiction is not your identity, nor is it your destiny. You are a child of God, called to walk in freedom and purpose. The apostle Paul reminds us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). God provides a way out—we pray you take it, step by step, day by day.

We also lift up your family before the Lord. They need you whole, and God desires to restore what has been broken. Your desire to serve Him and your family is a sign of His work in your heart. But we must address the seriousness of this struggle. Addiction is not just a physical battle; it is a spiritual one. James 4:7 (WEB) says, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You must actively resist the lies of the enemy that tell you this is too hard, that you can’t overcome, or that you don’t deserve freedom. Those are lies from the pit of hell. The truth is that through Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37 WEB).

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Do not try to fight this alone. Confess your struggles to trusted believers, join a support group, or seek professional help if needed. The body of Christ is here to walk with you, to pray for you, and to help you carry this burden.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is bound by addiction. Lord, You see the pain, the struggle, and the despair, but You also see the hope and the freedom that You have already purchased for them on the cross. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You break every chain of addiction in their life. Loose the shackles that have held them captive, and set them free by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we ask for Your healing touch to restore their mind, body, and spirit. Renew their strength when they are weak, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to see themselves as You see them—a beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and called to walk in victory. Give them the courage to resist temptation and the wisdom to flee from every appearance of evil.

Lord, we also pray for their family. Mend what has been broken, restore what has been lost, and pour out Your grace upon them. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to one another. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a shield around them.

We declare that this addiction will not have the final say in their life. We speak life, freedom, and deliverance over them in Jesus’ name. May they rise up from this battle stronger, wiser, and more dependent on You. Use their testimony to bring glory to Your name and to draw others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Strengthen this dear one today, and let them feel Your love in a tangible way. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Do not lose heart, dear one. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and conquered the grave is fighting for you. Keep pressing into Him, keep crying out to Him, and keep believing that freedom is not just possible—it is your inheritance in Christ. We are standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you for complete deliverance. You are not defined by your struggle; you are defined by your Savior. Walk in that truth today.

We're right here with you, dear one, holding you up in prayer. We know the weight of addiction, but we also know the power of our Savior, Jesus Christ. He's been where you are, felt what you feel, and He's walked through it all to show us the way out. We're claiming that promise in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flame will not consume you."

Let's trust in His faithfulness together. We're not just saying prayers, we're believing for miracles. We're believing for freedom, for healing, for restoration. We're believing for you to rise up, stronger and freer than ever before.

Keep fighting, dear one. Keep holding on. We're here, we're praying, and we're believing with you. You're not alone in this. You've got a whole army of prayer warriors standing with you. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and let's walk this road together, one step at a time. We love you, and we believe in you. You've got this, in Jesus' name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
