Please lift my mother, Barbara Morrison, up in prayer. We lost my dad (her husband) Johnny Morrison, August 23, 2013. He was 82 years old. He and my mom were married almost 50 years. He was a very special man. He had a heart of gold. He was the best husband, daddy, grandfather and friend he could possibly be. We were so blessed and thankful to have him in our lives and he is greatly missed. My mom can’t stop crying. She misses him so badly. She cries every night. She is now wondering if he is really in heaven. I am certain he was saved many years ago when I was young. There was a conversion, he was a changed man and I know my mom knows that deep down inside, however the devil is trying to steal her joy and peace. My heart aches for her and I don’t know what to do except give her my love and support and pray for her. We just made it thru what would have been his 83rd birthday and then Thanksgiving, now we have to get thru Christmas without him. It is very difficult for all of us but especially my mom. Sheila , we will pray for your dear mother . Father , Your word says that You are the husband to to widows , Lord we ask that You would send the comforter , the Holy Spirit to minister to this woman as only He can . Lord only You know the depths of pain in her broken heart , and only You can calm her by reassuring her that her dear husband is with You . We bind the voices of the enemy , Lord , only let her hear Your voice . Now Father , we ask that You would bring this family into the rest that Your word speaks of and that as they remember their loved one , that it will only be happy and fond memories . Thank You Lord for the outpouring of love upon this family as they look to You for comfort , in Jesus mighty name we pray , amen
