Knowing of the evil is one thing, partaking of the fruits of evil is where the problem corrupts our soul.  The carnal mind is of all these desires you mentioned within man and represents the four beast  in revelations.  They are our 4 desires within our lower endocrine glands in our bodies.  These four earthly urges and forces  must be placed into submission, or at least try to submit.  Knowing that I am an alcoholic is the realization that I am being self destructive to my body through alcohol so therefore I must quit or die.  But corruption of the soul through your carnal weaknesses is taking place and is trying to remove your higher spiritual vibrations to the lower 3 dimensional mentality .  Jesus was tempted by Satan  and he took Jesus up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.  And he said unto him, "all these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me."  "Then Jesus said away with you Satan!"  If you care about your soul to be delivered from these problems, then you will refuse to fall down and worship these urges and earthly forces.  I will pray for you to be sincere and seek a change and God will meet you there.  Be truthful to yourself and refrain from the lower level things in consciousness.  Pray, pray, and pray some more and seek God with all your heart and you shall be saved!!    God Bless You.   I send unconditional love unto your mind, body, soul, and spirit.  Amen
