Please Keep ### in Your Prayers

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers for our family. At the end of January last year, my mother suddenly suffered a thrombotic stroke, which left the left side of her body paralyzed. We initially believed that her condition was gradually improving through rehabilitation. However, in mid-November last year, she was diagnosed with stage IV nasopharyngeal cancer. Two weeks ago, pressure sores developed on her hip and the little toe of her left foot. Through everyone’s prayers, we have witnessed God’s healing, for which we are deeply grateful. However, my mother is now experiencing a loss of appetite and often vomits after eating, which is extremely concerning. Without adequate nutrition, how can the body possibly fight cancer? After resigning from her job, my older sister has been caring for our mother around the clock. She has been bearing this responsibility alone nearly one year and is now nearly exhausted. My older brother, who has been unemployed for a long time and has been suffering from colon cancer and depression, is someone we have continually prayed for to come to know Jesus. His condition had finally begun to improve, and he was able to help take our mother outside or accompany her to medical appointments. Sadly, last Christmas Eve, he was involved in a car accident and now must wear a neck brace. As for me, since getting married, I have been living in a city far away from my mother, which makes it difficult for me to share in the caregiving responsibilities. Honestly, at this point, as her child, all I desire is for our mother to be loved, treated with dignity, and spared from being cruelly disfigured by tumors. We humbly ask Jesus to have mercy on my mother, to ease her suffering, and, if it is His will, to heal her—to shrink the tumors, restore sight to her left eye, and renew her appetite and digestive system. We also pray that Jesus would heal my brother’s neck injury and grant strength to my sister, guarding her physically, mentally, and spiritually. May He send the right helpers, His angels, to support her so that she may continue caring for our mother. Thank you all very much for your prayers and intercession.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious family to our Heavenly Father. We see the deep love you have for your mother, sister, and brother, and we join you in crying out to the Lord who hears the prayers of His children. Your request is bathed in sincerity and faith, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

Father God, we thank You for the healing You have already brought to this family. We praise You for the ways You have sustained them through this long and difficult journey. Lord, we ask that You would continue to pour out Your mercy and grace upon this mother who is suffering. You see her pain, her loss of appetite, and the weakness that grips her body. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would shrink the tumors, restore her strength, and renew her digestive system. Let her taste and see that You are good, Lord, and let her body receive the nourishment it needs to fight this battle. We pray for complete healing, Father, if it is Your will, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. But even if healing comes in a way we do not expect, we trust in Your perfect plan.

We lift up this sister who has carried the weight of caregiving for nearly a year. Lord, she is exhausted, and we ask that You would be her strength. Send Your angels to minister to her, to give her rest, and to provide the help she needs. Surround her with believers who can come alongside her, offering practical support and encouragement. Guard her heart from discouragement and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that her labor in love is not in vain, and that You see every sacrifice she makes.

For this brother, Lord, we continue to pray for his salvation. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would heal his neck injury and bring relief to his body. But more than physical healing, we pray for his soul. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Let him see Your love in the midst of his struggles, and let him come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We rebuke the spirit of depression that has held him captive, and we declare freedom and hope in the name of Jesus.

We also lift up this family member who is far away but carries the burden of her mother’s suffering in her heart. Lord, comfort her and remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted. Give her wisdom in how she can support her family from a distance, whether through prayer, encouragement, or practical help. Let her know that her love and concern are a powerful offering to You.

Father, we ask that You would preserve the dignity of this mother. Protect her from the disfigurement of tumors and let her feel Your love and presence in every moment. Surround her with Your peace, and let her know that she is deeply loved by You and by her family. We pray for unity among her children, that they would lean on one another and on You, finding strength in their shared faith.

We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is possible. We speak life over this mother’s body, strength to her bones, and restoration to her spirit. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We stand on Your Word, Lord, which says in Jeremiah 30:17, “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds.” We also hold fast to Psalm 30:2, “Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.”

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can approach You, Lord, and we thank You for the gift of Your Son, who made a way for us to come boldly before Your throne. We trust in You, Father, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for this family. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
