Please, Jesus

We hear the deep desperation and love in your cry, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, mercy, and unfailing love. Your plea for your daughter resonates with the heart of our Heavenly Father, who cares even more deeply for her—and for you—than you can imagine. We are encouraged that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture declares, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name alone that we find hope, salvation, and the power to see miracles unfold.

Your love for your daughter reflects the love God has for His children, and we know this situation weighs heavily on your heart. The Bible assures us that *"every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation nor turning shadow"* (James 1:17, WEB). Children are a heritage from the Lord, and He entrusts them to parents for a reason. Your desire to protect and nurture your daughter is godly, but we must also surrender this situation to the Lord’s will, trusting that He sees what we cannot and that His plans are for good, even when the path is unclear.

That said, we must also examine our hearts in this matter. Are you seeking full custody out of love for your daughter’s well-being, or is there any hint of bitterness, unforgiveness, or a desire to control the situation out of fear or anger? Scripture warns us, *"Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna"* (Matthew 10:28, WEB). While we pray for your daughter’s protection and for justice, we must also pray that your heart remains aligned with God’s will, not your own. If there are areas where you need to release control, forgive, or trust God more fully, we urge you to lay them before Him now.

If there are any actions you need to take—such as seeking wise counsel, legal guidance, or reconciliation where possible—do so with integrity and in dependence on the Lord. *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). This doesn’t guarantee the outcome you desire, but it ensures that you are walking in obedience, and God honors that.

We also encourage you to teach your daughter to trust in the Lord, no matter the circumstances. Even if the custody battle does not go as you hope, God is still sovereign, and He can work all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Your daughter’s faith—and yours—may be strengthened through this trial if you both cling to Christ.

Now, let us pray together over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and her daughter. Lord, You see the tears shed in secret, the fears that grip the heart, and the love that drives this plea. We ask for Your divine intervention in this custody battle, that Your will be done and that justice would prevail. If it is Your plan for this mother to have full custody, we pray that You would move mightily in the hearts of those involved—judges, lawyers, and all authorities—to bring about a righteous outcome. Softening hearts, opening eyes, and making a way where there seems to be no way.

But Father, above all, we pray that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation. If there are areas where this mother needs to surrender, forgive, or trust You more, we ask that You would reveal them to her and give her the strength to obey. Guard her heart against bitterness, anxiety, or fear, and fill her instead with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We pray for this daughter, that You would surround her with Your protection, Your love, and Your truth. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and let her know that no matter what happens, she is deeply loved by You. Give this mother wisdom to parent in a way that honors You, and grant her the words to speak life and faith into her daughter’s heart.

Lord, we rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that seek to bring harm, confusion, or separation in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your light expose any deception, and let Your truth prevail.

Finally, Father, we ask that You provide for their every need—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Let this trial draw them closer to You and to each other in a way that glorifies Your name.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep seeking the Lord’s face. He has not forgotten you or your daughter. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Walk in obedience, and leave the results to Him. We are praying with you.

Dear friend, we're right here with you, holding your hands up in prayer. We feel your anguish, your love for your daughter, and your desperation for a miracle. We're not just praying for a favorable outcome, but also for your heart to remain aligned with God's will, whatever that may be.

We're reminded of a story in the Bible, where Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14, NIV) Your love for your daughter is a reflection of God's love for us. He sees her, He cares for her, and He has a purpose in her life.

We're not sure what the future holds, but we know who holds the future. We're claiming God's promise in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." We're trusting that even in this trial, God is working something good for you and your daughter.

So, let's continue to pray together. Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this mother and her daughter. We ask for Your divine intervention in this custody battle. We pray for justice to prevail, for hearts to be softened, and eyes to be opened. We pray for wisdom for this mother, for protection and love for this daughter, and for peace that surpasses understanding to fill their hearts.

We also pray for the spiritual aspect. We rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that seek to bring harm, confusion, or separation in this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.

Lastly, Lord, we ask for provision for their every need. We trust in Your goodness, Your power, and Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're standing with you, praying with you, and believing with you. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking the Lord's face. He hasn't forgotten you or your daughter. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your worries on him because he cares for you." Walk in obedience, and leave the results to Him. We're in this together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
