PLEASE JESUS, HAVE MERCY! I MUST BELIEVE MY PRAYER HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We join you in crying out to Jesus for mercy and we stand with you in faith that He hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. We understand how painful it is when a sincere prayer is mocked or belittled by others, and we want you to know that your desire to bring this unspoken burden only to Jesus is both biblical and precious to God.

The Lord knows the deep and unspoken requests of your heart even before you speak them. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Psalm 139:4. We are reminded that when we do not have words, the Spirit himself intercedes for us. In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. Romans 8:26. Jesus Himself taught us the power of praying in secret, But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6. Your Father sees in secret and knows exactly what you are carrying, even the details that have been redacted and the pain behind this unspoken request.

We also hear your hurt over those who insulted this prayer to make themselves look good and who mocked the power of God by comparing your situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. God is able to do far beyond what we can imagine, and nothing is impossible with Him, yet we are also called to not use our prayers or our righteousness to seek praise from men. We rebuke a spirit of mockery and self exaltation, for Jesus warned against practicing righteousness before men to be seen by them. Matthew 6:1. And we are called to not return insult for insult. Not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. 1 Peter 3:9. We encourage you to release those who hurt you into God's hands and to forgive them, as we are blessed even when we are reproached for His sake. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Matthew 5:11.

We affirm your longing to believe your prayer has already been answered, for faith is essential. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:24. And let him ask in faith, without any doubting. James 1:6. At the same time we encourage you to rest that faith in submission to God's sovereign will, for This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. Believing you have received means trusting that God has heard you and will answer in His perfect way and time, even if the answer looks different than you expect.

We lift this unspoken request to the throne of grace together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and no other way to approach Your throne. We thank You that You know this unspoken prayer intimately, every detail, every need, every hope and fear attached to it. We ask for Your mercy and Your will to be done in this situation. We pray that You would strengthen our dear one with unwavering faith without doubting, with peace that surpasses understanding, and with patience to wait on Your timing. Heal any wound caused by mockery and help us to forgive those who have insulted this prayer, blessing them rather than holding bitterness. Let Your power be displayed in this situation as You alone can do, whether through a quiet work or a mighty deliverance like parting the sea, and let all glory be Yours and not man's. We trust that You have heard and that You are already at work, and we rest in Your love and sovereignty. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring this unspoken burden to Jesus daily in that secret place, trusting He sees, He hears, and He will answer for your good and His glory.

We hear the weight you are carrying with this prayer and how hurtful it felt to have it belittled. When something so personal is made fun of, it makes sense you would want to hold it close and keep it between you and Jesus from now on.

We want you to know we take your unspoken request seriously, and more importantly, God does. He does not need the details explained to others to understand or to be near you. You do not have to defend the way you pray or prove your faith to anyone who treated it unkindly.

It can help to have a quiet, consistent place to bring this to Him without pressure. If it helps, set aside a few minutes each day to simply be with Jesus about this, without words if that feels safer. He knows what is on your heart. If you do want another person to stand with you, you can ask someone you trust to pray with you for your unspoken request, without having to share more than you want to.

Jesus, we lift this friend and this unspoken prayer to You. You see it fully and You love them. We ask for Your mercy, Your peace and Your clear guidance. Help them to rest in Your care and to keep trusting You day by day. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest cry, though you now keep it unspoken before men, is not unspoken before God, for He knows what you ask even before you utter it, and He hears prayer offered in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone salvation is found and access is given.

You have felt the sting of mockers, and this is no strange thing to faith. Whatever happens to us, if our faith is the work of the Holy Spirit, we shall hold on to our trust in God. Sometimes they scoff at faith itself, counting it folly of weak minds, and sometimes they insult over one particular Christian's faith, saying, he professes to trust in God after this mad fashion. They scoff at the very idea of Divine interposition, as though God would not hear or answer. No doubt we may expect all the more of the laughter of the ungodly who will make a spectacle of us for our faith, but what of that. We can bear mockery and much more for His sake who died for us. Take therefore above all the shield of faith, for faith preserves from all sorts of enemies. Does it refer to wicked men, faith resists them. Does it refer to Satan with his fiery darts, faith answers him. Let the earth be all in arms abroad, this faith can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, for this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

You say, I must believe my prayer has already been answered, and I hear in that the trembling of little faith which yet betakes itself to prayer. When Peter began to sink, what did he do, he prayed, Lord, save me. Little faith knows where her strength lies, and is great at pleading in prayer. Perhaps your very weakness drives you more often to your knees. Be comforted, for the Holy Spirit is the Creator not of the littleness of our faith, but of our faith, be it ever so little. Our Lord acknowledges the faith which we suspect to be little better than unbelief. He can spy out faith when, like a lone spark, it is all but smothered under a heap of rubbish, and He forgives the unbelief, but He graciously accepts the faith despite its weakness. What is faith, it is not only to know that Christ is there and to believe that He is strong, but the essence of faith lies in dropping down into His arms. That is the proof and pith of it.

Yet learn also humility in prayer. True prayer is pleading with the Most High, spreading our case before Him, and pressing our suit with all the arguments we can muster from His own Word. We say, Remember the Word unto Your servant, asking God to remember His Word by fulfilling it, for prayer is a reminding of our heavenly Father of His promises. But self conceit tears the chariot wheels from prayer so that it drags heavily. Imitate then humility of spirit, and let your prayer be highly argumentative with promises, not with demands that God must do as we dictate. A faith that can believe over a hungry belly is faith indeed, yet it is only such a faith as is due to God, and God will abundantly justify all the trust we repose in Him.

You have done well to commit the matter silently to God. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for in all the incense which our Great High Priest now puts into the censer there is not a single grain that is for Himself, and intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent. When you can plead a promise and drop that prayer into the ground with hope, your weakness shall not make it miscarry, it shall still prevail with God and bring down blessings from on high. If that prayer should be long before it gets an answer, let us persevere in importunity, saying, yet my prayer shall be in their calamities. Know this also, that Jacob prayed and his prayer was answered, but it was not answered in the way he expected it would be. So the Lord may answer you according to His wisdom and love, which is better than our expectation.

Therefore I will pray for you in Jesus name only, as you have asked, that the Lord would show you His mercy, quicken you in His way, turn away your eyes from beholding vanity, and work in you both faith and repentance, for they are twins born together in the soul, and faith means trust in Christ. Those who have a faith which allows them to think lightly of past sin have the faith of devils and not the faith of Gods elect. May He give you that true faith by which men are saved, and without which men are damned, and may He conform your desires and your petitions to His holy Word, for marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all our living is to be ordered within His good design. What is according to His will He will grant, and where we ask amiss He will give what is better, even Himself.

Tell the tempter, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, and rest your unspoken burden there. The Lord can deny nothing to the pleadings of an unstaggering faith that rests upon Christ, and even your little faith, cast upon Him, He will not despise.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
