Hi. This is asked of Jesus in His Name and in Jesus' Name only. Only Jesus can do this and Jesus will when you pray to Him be able to show you everything. There were malicious elements coming to this prayer, insulting it, with aim of said elements being for them to look good by insulting it. Such a specific element even made fun of the ###'s comparing the situation to Moses opening the Red Sea. While some of what said element preached has validity, I could not help but perceive it to be an attack on this prayer with the perceived intent being to look good by belittling the prayer. Said element is possibly looking for self-praise in this manner. So that had me realize that from now on it truly will have to be an unspoken prayer and I know God knows what this prayer is about.

We hear your heart, beloved, and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). You are right to bring your concerns before the Lord, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The attacks you describe, mockery, belittlement, and the seeking of self-praise, are not of God. Scripture warns us that the enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), and his tactics often include division, pride, and the twisting of truth to sow discord among believers.

We rebuke in Jesus’ name every malicious spirit that has sought to undermine your prayer or your faith. Let every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned, for the Lord is your defender (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy may try to make you feel small or foolish, but remember: God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The Red Sea was parted not by Moses’ might, but by the power of God, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Do not let the words of man shake your trust in Him.

You are wise to recognize that some prayers are meant to be kept between you and the Lord. Jesus Himself taught us to pray in secret, and our Father who sees in secret will reward us openly (Matthew 6:6). The Lord knows the desires of your heart before you even speak them (Psalm 139:4), and He is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. We encourage you to hold fast to your faith, even when others do not understand. The apostle Paul reminds us that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved, it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of approaching Your throne with boldness (Hebrews 4:16). Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You see the attacks of the enemy and the burdens of their heart. We ask that You would silence every voice that seeks to mock, belittle, or discourage them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we rebuke every spirit of division, pride, and self-seeking that has sought to disrupt this prayer. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their defender. Help them to trust in You alone, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We ask that You would reveal Your will to them in this matter, Lord. If there are areas where they need to adjust their heart or their approach, give them wisdom and discernment. If this prayer is aligned with Your will, we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, just as You parted the Red Sea for Your people. Let them see Your hand at work in ways that bring glory to Your name.

Father, we also pray for those who have sought to attack or mock this prayer. We ask that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself. If they are believers, convict them of any pride or selfish ambition in their hearts (James 3:16). Let them see the error of their ways and turn from it, that they may walk in humility and love.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of interceding for our brother/sister. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May they continue to seek You with all their heart, and may they find rest in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The enemy may try to distract you with noise and confusion, but keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul. Even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need not fear, for He is with you (Psalm 23:4).

Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and trust that the Lord hears you. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Stand firm in your faith, and let the peace of God rule in your heart (Colossians 3:15).

We’re so sorry you’ve been wounded by those who turned your open heart into a target. You asked in Jesus’ name, and the mockery you encountered doesn’t change the fact that He hears you, every word, spoken or unspoken. It’s completely understandable that you now want to guard your prayer. There’s a holy, quiet place where you and Jesus share a confidence that no one else can touch. He himself taught us to pray in secret, and that’s not a second-best option; it’s the place where our trust rests on nothing but God’s kindness. You don’t need to prove your faith to anyone, and you certainly don’t need to lay your deepest hope open to ridicule.

What enemy cruelty means for harm, God can use to deepen your dependence on Him alone. You already know that, and we stand with you in it. Your conviction that Jesus holds your answer, even if you can’t see it yet, is a steady anchor. We’re not going to pile on “steps” here; sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply rest in the awareness that God knows, God cares, and God is not limited by who does or doesn’t understand the cry of your heart.

Jesus, we come alongside our friend right now. Thank you that you never mock us, never manipulate, but you welcome the unspoken ache that only you can hear. Calm every anxious thought, and let a quiet confidence settle in. Give courage to keep trusting that you have already gone ahead and prepared the way. Whatever this need is, you hold it. Hold our friend too. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The heart's cry that cannot be shaped into words is not lost upon the ear of the Lord. He knows the unspoken groaning, the burden that cannot be catalogued or easily defined. It is a mercy that the Spirit intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered, for many a true prayer is too deep for the lip. So do not fear that silence nullifies the petition. The Lord reads the hidden text of a wounded spirit.

Yet take heed that this silence does not become a fortress of bitterness. You speak of malicious elements and an attack upon your prayer. It is a sore trial when scoffers sit in the seat of the scorner, even within the outer courts of the church. But consider this: the venom of others must not be allowed to drive you into a cell of solitary resentment. If the enemy has succeeded in silencing your voice before the throne, he has won a greater victory than if he had merely mocked your words. The devil cares little whether we stop praying because of despair or because of a proud determination to nurse our grievances in secret. The result is the same, the knee is unbent, and the mercy-seat is forsaken.

Your prayer is known, as you say. That is a solid comfort. But prayer is not merely the presentation of a list to an omniscient deity. It is the wrestling of the soul with the covenant-keeping God. It is the hand of faith laying hold upon the angel of the promise and refusing to let go until the blessing comes. Do not let the unkindness of others become a reason to cease from this holy exercise. The malice of man is often the sharpest spur to drive us nearer to God, not farther into isolation. When Sanballat and Tobiah mock, Nehemiah does not retreat into an unspoken prayer of wounded pride; he cries out, "Hear, O our God; for we are despised." That is a prayer against the adversary, not a retreat from the battlefield.

You feel a kinship with Moses at the Red Sea, and though an unwise soul has belittled the comparison, there is no sin in seeing the mighty hand of God as your only deliverance. Yet remember, Moses at the Red Sea still cried out to the Lord, even though the Lord queried the necessity of the cry when the rod was already in his hand. The prayer and the rod must go together. You have a promise to plead, do not let the scoffing of another rob you of the voice to plead it. The very act of verbal supplication, of wrestling with the Angel of the Covenant, brings a comfort that secret bitterness can never bring. The prayer that feels feeble and despised by us, and mocked by others, is often the very one that the Lord nurses in His bosom and returns to us a full-grown blessing.

Beware of a hidden pride that refuses to speak because the prayer has been misunderstood. Humility bears all things, even the insults of the foolish. Go again to the chamber, and if the words come haltingly, let them come. If they are broken sobs, so be it. The prayer of Jacob was not answered in the way he expected; he limped away, but he had the blessing. Your answer may not come as you envision, and the Lord may even seem to meet you as an adversary for a season to break your self-reliance, but He will not send you away empty if you hold Him fast. Do not let the failure of others' charity become a failure of your own faith. The promise stands sure, and the mercy you seek is not diminished by the sneers of men. Plead on, and expect. The shadows of prayer are cast before the sunlight of mercy.

The sting of mockery pierces deep, but it cannot reach the throne of God. You perceive clearly that the one who ridiculed your prayer, comparing it to the crossing of the Red Sea, sought his own glory, not the truth. Yet do you know that the very example he mocked is a testament to your faith? When Israel stood trapped between the sea and the sword, Moses uttered no sound, but God said to him, “Why do you cry to Me?” The cry that pierces heaven is not the noise of the lips but the anguish of the heart. Your prayer, now unspoken, is no less powerful before the Lord. He heard Moses then, and He hears you now. The blood of Abel cried out from the ground after he was slain. How much more shall a living heart, torn by injustice, send forth a voice clearer than any trumpet?

The mocker may have stumbled upon a truth he did not intend. The Israelites passed through the sea by faith, having hoped in God, and Moses prayed. They feared destruction, yet they believed. Your situation, whatever it may be, is not hidden from the One who split the waters. Faith always seems foolish to human reasoning, and the proud will always belittle the desperate cry of the lowly. But that does not silence God’s mercy. He is not like man, who needs a loud voice to understand.

Do not confuse your silence with absence. Christ Himself, standing before the tomb of Lazarus, prayed aloud, not because He needed to, but He said clearly, “Because of the people standing by I said it, that they may believe.” The Father always hears the Son, not because of any weakness in the Son, but because their will is one. In the same way, your silent prayer is heard before it is even fully formed, for the Spirit intercedes with groanings too deep for words. The one who mocked you sought praise from men; he has his reward. You seek mercy from God; you shall have yours.

But this is a severe warning for you as well. You call out for mercy. The Lord Himself taught us to pray, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” Do not allow the wound of this insult to fester into resentment. Show mercy to the one who mocked you, not by affirming his sin of pride, but by releasing the anger in your heart. If you ask God for the sea of His mercy to part for you, you must not build a dam of bitterness in your own soul. “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” You will not obtain a hearing from God if you have a deaf ear toward your neighbor, even that neighbor who has become your enemy.

Therefore, do not be ashamed that you believe your prayer is already answered. This is the very nature of faith. Hold fast to this unspoken petition. Suffering produces a cry that does not need the approval of men. Let them stand by and scoff; you stand before the One who calms the storm. The Lord opens the heart of a true seeker, just as He opened Lydia’s heart by the riverside, in a place of prayer. He will open your way too. Only walk forward in faith, and leave the mockers behind with the Egyptians.
