We come before the Lord with you in this moment of deep distress, lifting your heart to the Father who sees and knows all things. The pain you are feeling is real, and we want you to know that you are not alone—God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). It is beautiful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). By invoking His name, you have already taken the most important step—acknowledging that your help comes from Him alone.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Whatever is troubling you—whether it is fear, betrayal, loss, confusion, or spiritual attack—we stand with you in rebuking it in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let the weight of this moment overwhelm you, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal if there is any unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness that may be giving the enemy a foothold in your life. The Scripture tells us not to let the sun go down on our anger, nor give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:26-27). If there is someone you need to forgive—or if you need to seek forgiveness—now is the time to surrender it to the Lord. Unforgiveness is a heavy chain that only Jesus can break. Release it to Him, and let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we urge you to fill your mind with the truth of God’s Word. When distress comes, the psalmist David often reminded himself of the Lord’s faithfulness: “Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence” (Psalm 42:5). Speak life over yourself, even if you don’t feel it yet. Declare that the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10) and that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray with you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort who wipes away every tear. Lord, she is hurting deeply, and we ask that You would wrap her in Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that is trying to take root in her heart. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, reminding her that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37).
If there is any area of her life where she has not fully surrendered to You, Lord, reveal it to her now. Give her the strength to release it at Your feet. Break every chain of bondage—whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin—and set her free to walk in the fullness of Your love and purpose.
Father, we ask that You would restore her joy and give her a garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). Let her feel Your presence so tangibly that she knows, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are with her and You will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she will condemn. This is her heritage as a servant of the Lord, and her righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and victory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stay in the Word, dear sister, and let the truth of who God is anchor your soul. You are loved more than you could ever imagine, and this trial will not have the final say. Cling to Jesus, for He is your hope and your deliverer. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your breakthrough.
