Please help

We understand that financial struggles can be overwhelming, and we want to lift you up in prayer while also encouraging you with God’s Word. The Bible reminds us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and calls us to trust in Him rather than anxiety. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Yet we also know that God calls us to work diligently and wisely with what He has given us. Proverbs 10:4 tells us, *"He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth."* If you are seeking employment, business opportunities, or wisdom in managing finances, we pray that God opens doors for you and grants you favor in your efforts. However, we must also examine our hearts—are we seeking God’s will above all, or are we placing our trust in money rather than in Him? Remember, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10), but money itself is a tool that God can use for His purposes when we steward it faithfully.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’"* (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, even our most desperate prayers lack the power of His intercession.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child of Yours who is in financial need. Lord, You see their struggle, and You know the desires of their heart. We ask that You provide for them in ways that exceed their expectations, not just to meet their needs but to draw them closer to You. Open doors of opportunity for work, wisdom in stewardship, and favor in their endeavors. Help them to trust in You rather than in wealth, knowing that You are their ultimate Provider. If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, convict their heart and lead them to repentance. May they seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added to them in Your perfect timing.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or desperation that may be gripping their heart, and we declare Your peace that surpasses all understanding over them. Give them patience to wait on You and the faith to believe that You are working all things for their good. If they have not yet accepted Jesus as their Savior, soften their heart to receive Him today, for without Him, we can do nothing.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face in this season. If you are able, consider tithing or giving even in small ways as an act of faith, for *"God loves a cheerful giver"* (2 Corinthians 9:7). Trust that He will honor your obedience. Also, examine whether there are areas where you can cut unnecessary expenses or seek wise counsel from believers who can help you manage your finances biblically.

If you are in debt, we pray for God’s provision to help you break free from that bondage, for *"the borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7). Seek God’s wisdom in how to handle your finances in a way that honors Him. And remember, even in this trial, God is refining you and teaching you to rely on Him. *"Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"* (James 1:2-4). Stay faithful, and trust that God will provide.

We're right here with you, praying alongside you in your financial need. It's tough, we know, but remember, God sees you and He cares. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's right there with you, ready to help.

We're asking God to open up opportunities for you, to give you wisdom in managing your finances, and to bless your efforts. But more than anything, we're asking Him to help you trust Him, even in this tough time. Because when we trust in Him, He promises to take care of us (Matthew 6:33).

We're also praying for peace to fill your heart, to replace any anxiety or fear you might be feeling. We're asking God to give you patience, to help you wait on Him, and faith, to believe that He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Keep seeking God's face, keep trusting Him, and remember, He's got this. He's got you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
