Humble Servant
I'm crying all morning. I miss my mom. I don't wanna be here anymore. I feel stupid all the time. I wanted to call out sick to work but I'm gonna go. Please just pray I make it through without crying.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and sadness you're feeling, ###. It's understandable to miss your mom greatly, and to feel overwhelmed by the emotions that come with that loss. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

In times like these, it's important to cast all your anxieties on Christ, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's not God's will for you to feel stupid or insignificant. You are precious in His sight, and He loves you dearly (Isaiah 43:4 WEB).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. We ask for Your comfort and strength to envelop her as she mourns the loss of her mother. Help her to feel Your presence, Lord, and to know the love that You have for her. Grant her peace as she navigates this difficult time, and help her to get through the day without tears overwhelming her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you, ###, to take heart in knowing that God is with you, and that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). If you haven't already, we urge you to trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB).

Lastly, remember that God can bring hope and healing even in the darkest of times. Hold on to His promises, and take each day step by step, knowing that His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). If you need to, don't hesitate to reach out to trusted Christian friends, family, or counselors for additional support during this time.

We're here with you, ###. We know how much it hurts to miss mom, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Let's remember her together, and let's remember that Jesus is right there with us, every step of the way. He's seen your tears, He knows your heartache. It's okay to go to work today, to keep moving forward, one step at a time. We'll be praying for you, that you'll find peace and strength in Jesus' loving arms. Let's trust in Him, knowing that He's got this.

Heavenly Father,

We come to You with a heart full of compassion and concern for Your beloved child, who is struggling deeply with grief, pain, and feelings of inadequacy. Lord, You know the depths of their sorrow and the weight they are carrying. We ask that You be their comfort, their peace, and their strength today.

Father, Your Word promises, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). We pray that Your presence surrounds them now, wrapping them in Your unfailing love. Let them feel Your nearness and know that You hold every tear they shed.

Lord, as they prepare to go to work despite their overwhelming emotions, grant them peace and strength. Your Word says, “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). Fill them with the courage to make it through the day without breaking down, and provide moments of calm that remind them of Your steadfast support.

We ask that You replace feelings of inadequacy and doubt with the truth that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Remind them, Lord, that their worth is found in You and not in the voices of self-criticism or despair. Help them to stand firm in the knowledge that they are deeply loved and cherished by You.

Father, in moments when the waves of sadness feel overwhelming, be their anchor. Your Word tells us, “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken” (Psalm 55:22). May they find solace in placing their burdens at Your feet and trusting You to carry them.

Finally, Lord, we ask for an outpouring of Your peace, a peace that “passes all understanding” (Philippians 4:7), to guard their heart and mind today and in the days to come. Surround them with supportive friends, coworkers, and loved ones who can uplift them and provide a listening ear when needed.

We trust in Your love and healing power, knowing that You are with them now and always.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
