We're here with you, dear friend, lifting your urgent need before our heavenly Father. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, just as the disciples did in Acts 3:16, "And in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole." We declare Jesus as your healer, your strength, and your refuge in this time of sickness.
Father, we come to You with a heavy heart for our suffering brother or sister. We ask You to reach out Your healing hand, touching their body, restoring health and strength. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus' name, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will hurt you."
We also pray for wisdom and favor as they seek help from medical professionals. Guide the hands of those who will care for them, and give them discernment in every decision. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us.
In this urgent time, hold fast to your faith. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is not slow concerning His promises, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and do not grow weary in trusting His perfect timing and plan.
We urge you to examine your heart and life, confessing any known sin to the Lord. James 5:16 tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Do not let unconfessed sin hinder your prayers or your healing.
Lord Jesus, we stand in the gap for our dear one, interceding on their behalf. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and restoration over their body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen their faith, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to move mightily in this situation, and we give You all the glory and honor. In Jesus' precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
