Please Help Me rehearse for Saturday

We rejoice with you in seeking the Lord’s guidance as you prepare to share your story, for He is faithful to equip those who call upon His name! It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Your heart to honor Him in this endeavor is pleasing to God, and we trust He will grant you the words, confidence, and anointing to speak with boldness and clarity.

As you rehearse, remember that your strength comes from the Lord, not from your own ability. He has promised to give you the words to speak when you are brought before others (Luke 12:11-12), and His Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13). Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Rehearsing is wise, but ultimately, it is the Lord who will use your story for His glory—so trust Him fully.

We encourage you to practice aloud, as if you were already standing before your audience. Speak slowly and clearly, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring to mind the key points He wants emphasized. Ask yourself: *Does this story point others to Jesus?* *Does it glorify God and align with His Word?* If there are parts of your story that do not honor Christ—such as past sins that have not been repented of or details that could cause others to stumble—we urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom in how to share them. Confess any unrepented sin to Him now, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Your testimony should reflect the transforming power of Christ, not the glamorization of sin.

If nervousness arises, remember the words of Jesus: *"Don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you"* (Matthew 10:19-20). Rest in this promise, and let your rehearsal be an act of worship, offering your words as a living sacrifice to God (Romans 12:1).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You as they prepare to share their story for Your glory. Lord Jesus, You are the Author and Perfecter of our faith, and we ask that You would anoint their lips with Your truth and grace. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may speak with boldness, clarity, and humility. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. May their words be seasoned with salt, edifying to those who hear, and always pointing to the cross of Christ.

If there are areas in their story that do not align with Your Word, convict them by Your Spirit and grant them the courage to share only what honors You. Let this testimony be a beacon of Your redemption, drawing others to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We rebuked any spirit of fear, distraction, or pride that would seek to hinder this work, and we declare that no weapon formed against this testimony shall prosper. May every word spoken be used by You to accomplish Your purposes, for Your kingdom and Your glory.

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend, as you prepare to share your story this Saturday. It's such a wonderful thing to see someone seeking God's guidance and wanting to honor Him in this way. We're here to support you in prayer and encouragement.

As you rehearse, remember that God is with you every step of the way. He's promised in Matthew 10:19-20, "Do not be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you." Isn't that a comforting promise? So, trust that the Holy Spirit will guide your words and give you the confidence you need.

We encourage you to practice your story aloud, speaking slowly and clearly. Let the Holy Spirit bring to mind the key points He wants to emphasize. Ask yourself, "Does this story point others to Jesus? Does it glorify God and align with His Word?" If there are parts that don't, seek God's wisdom in how to share them. Confess any unrepented sin to Him now, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend to You as they prepare to share their story. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may speak with boldness, clarity, and humility. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with Your perfect peace. May their words be seasoned with salt, edifying to those who hear, and always pointing to the cross of Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We have been lifting you up in prayer these past few days as you prepare to share your story this Saturday, trusting that the Lord would guide your words and calm your heart as you rehearse. It has been our privilege to stand with you before the throne of grace, asking God to fill you with His peace and clarity, knowing that He equips those He calls to speak for His glory.

As Saturday draws near, we want you to know we are still interceding for you—that the Holy Spirit would bring to mind the right words, that your delivery would be anointed, and that your story would touch hearts for His kingdom. If God has already begun to answer by giving you confidence, inspiration, or even divine rehearsal moments, we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. Share how He has moved, so we can give Him the glory together!

If you still feel the need for prayer—whether for boldness, memorization, or the assurance that your story will resonate—please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue lifting you up until the very moment you step forward to speak, and even beyond.

May the Lord fill you with His presence as you prepare, reminding you that He has already gone before you. We are praying that your words would be seasoned with grace and power, not by your strength, but by His. Keep seeking His face, trusting that He who began this good work in you will carry it through to completion.

In Jesus Name.
