Please Help Lord

My prior employment owes me a few thousand dollars I really needed to pay for rent and bills in my current, unemployed state. They sent a check last week for part of what they owe, but cancelled it yesterday. I would rather not defer to legal action, but it seems to be the only way to get the money I earned months ago. In the meantime, please let my school loan be approved to cover the bills, and grant me steady employment soon. Amen.
