First, let us address the foundation of our access to God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach the Father with confidence. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is found in no other name, and it is by His blood alone that we are made clean and able to stand before God. If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, we rejoice with you, but let us examine our hearts to ensure there is no unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that may be hindering your prayers. The Word tells us, *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18 WEB). We do not say this to condemn you, but to encourage you to search your heart and lay everything before the Lord.
You ask if you are doing something wrong, and we would gently remind you that prayer is not about perfection but about persistence and faith. Jesus taught us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB) and to come boldly to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB).
