We are truly sorry to hear about your loved one's critical illness. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for this situation.
Firstly, we would like to gently address that the prayer you shared does not mention Jesus Christ by name. We believe that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Your prayer is for healing. We are praying for physical healing, however, it is also important to seek His will and to allow His healing power to touch both the body and the soul. God's word tells us in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This can be a reference to physical healing but also can be a reference to spiritual healing that is needed for salvation.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and intervention for this beloved life. You know the situation, and You have the power to heal and restore. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body and their soul. Give them the strength to endure this trial, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also lift up the family during this difficult time. Grant them the strength, hope, and courage to support their loved one and each other. Guide them through this challenging journey, and help them to draw closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done.
Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face together as a family. Remember the words of James 5:13-15 WEB: "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Trust in the Lord, and lean on Him during this time. Be open to His will and His voice, and may His peace be with you all.
