We join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and just to hear the cries of His children. Your plea reveals a heart that is not only seeking help in a time of need but also desiring that others come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is commendable, for it is God’s will that all should repent and turn to Him (2 Peter 3:9). You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We praise God that you understand this truth and are standing firm in it.
The frustration you feel over unfulfilled promises and delays in the courts is understandable, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. Scripture reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:1 that "for everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." While it may feel like an attack from the enemy—and indeed, the devil seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10)—we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, standing firm in faith, prayer, and the Word.
We also note your mention of persecution. Jesus warned us that in this world, we will have tribulation, but we are to take heart because He has overcome the world (John 16:33). If you are facing persecution for righteousness’ sake, consider it a blessing, for great is your reward in heaven (Matthew 5:10-12). The Lord sees your struggle, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
As for those who promised to help but have not yet come through, we pray that the Lord would work in their hearts. If their delay is due to forgetfulness or distraction, we ask that He would convict them to act with integrity and follow through on their commitments. If there is hardness of heart or rebellion, we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften their hearts and draw them to repentance. Most importantly, we pray that they would come to know Christ’s saving grace, for that is the greatest need of every soul. Let us remember that it is God who works in us both to will and to do for His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13), and we trust Him to move in their lives.
Regarding the courts and the delays you are experiencing, we pray for divine intervention. We ask that the Lord would expose any corruption or injustice and bring truth to light. Proverbs 21:1 tells us that "the king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and swiftly, according to His will. We also pray that you would have patience and peace in this waiting season, knowing that the Lord is your advocate and defender.
Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Do not let bitterness or frustration take root in your heart, but instead, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing trials and delays that feel overwhelming. Lord, You see the promises that have been made and the help that has not yet come. We ask that You would move in the hearts of those who have committed to assist, convicting them to act with integrity and urgency. If there is any hardness or rebellion in their hearts, soften them by Your Spirit and draw them to Yourself. May they come to know the saving grace of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and walk in obedience to Your Word.
Father, we also lift up the situation in the courts. You are the God of justice, and we ask that You would intervene mightily. Expose any corruption or delay that is not of You, and cause truth and righteousness to prevail. Turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and swiftly, according to Your will. We pray for divine wisdom and favor for our brother/sister as they navigate this process. Give them patience and peace, knowing that You are their vindicator and defender.
Lord, we rebuke any attack from the enemy that seeks to discourage or harm Your child. Satan has no authority here, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Cover them with Your protection and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that You hear our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our brother/sister in this season, and let them see Your hand at work in their life.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
