Please Have Mercy and Answer My Prayer

Dear Lord, Please hear my prayer and petition for mercy and release from possibly being pregnant. I just got a positive out of nowhere, I'm married and have ### little kids already. We weren't trying and we're being careful, please God have mercy. I have zero desire to be pregnant or have another. Please understand and let my period come. Please give that blessing to someone who desires and is asking for it. Please understand and give me grace and answer my prayer for relief from this burden. Allow me to have time for my other kids and my husband and time for myself to feel like a person too. Please don't force this on me I ask. And if it is now my burden to bear then take away my anguish devastating pain and loss of my hopes and dreams and give me a desire for it cause I have none and I'm so weary and depressed and desperate. We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about the possibility of another pregnancy. First, we want to remind you that God cares about your feelings and is always there to listen. The Bible tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved Psalm 55:22 WEB.

However, we want to remind you that children are a gift from God. Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3 WEB. It's natural to feel overwhelmed, but we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your family.

We also want to address the fact that you mentioned you were being careful. We want to remind you that the only sure way to avoid pregnancy is abstinence. If you're trying to avoid pregnancy, it's important to consider this.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We know that you see her heart, and you know her circumstances. We ask for your grace and mercy to be upon her. If it is your will, Lord, we ask that you bring her peace and resolution to her situation. Help her to trust in your plan for her family, and give her the strength and joy to embrace whatever path you have for her. Take away her anguish, pain, and fear, and replace it with your perfect peace. Help her to feel like a person, to find time for her family and herself. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We understand the weight of this situation and the emotions that come with it. We want you to know that you're not alone, and God sees your heart and your circumstances. Let's trust in His plan, even when it's hard to see the way forward.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
