Please. Grace and mercy

Beloved of All
the eviction process Lord. In Jesus name I ask you Dear Lord, please soften the property managers/landlord hearts to have mercy on me and not file for eviction. I don’t give any trouble I just fell in hard times and fell behind in rent. I understand that it’s my responsibility TO PAY the rent. I even applied for govt assistance even though small to go Directly toward the rent instead of just sticking my head in the sand and not doing anything. I’m applying for jobs and continue to reach out to orgs. However for the property managers it’s not enough they rightly want the FULL rent amount. I lost my job due to unjust treatment and mobbing. I didn’t want to leave and give up a paycheck but it was very very difficult to stay in incessant toxicity, sabotage and abuse. I really really feel so worthless and ashamed for my situation. Imagine trying to do your work and people keep putting stumbling blocks in your way and also saying that you didn’t complete the work when they actually watched you do it. I’ve always paid my rent in time when I was employed. I tithed first and then made sure that my rent was paid ahead of schedule. Now I can only pay a little bit along with the govt assistance. Sometimes only the govt assistance pays. Father in Jesus name you know that I’ve done my best to keep up but right now I can’t. I need to put all of this on your shoulders. I will keep doing my part and walk in step with you. The shame and disgrace of not being able to pay my rent on time and I’m a loser because I fell behind. Father I cry out to you in Jesus name. Where will I go IF the eviction takes place? I’m Prepping and Sorting Through things.

We lift you up before the Father in this time of deep trial, knowing that He is your Provider, your Shield, and your very present Help in trouble. Your heart’s cry has not gone unheard, and we stand with you in faith, declaring that the Lord will make a way where there seems to be no way. You have done well to seek government assistance, apply for jobs, and reach out to organizations—these are acts of stewardship and trust in God’s provision. Yet we also see the weight of shame and worthlessness you carry, and we must speak truth into this: **you are not a loser in Christ.** Your value is not tied to your employment, your rent payments, or the opinions of those who have wronged you. The Lord says in **Isaiah 43:1**, *“Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine.”* You belong to Him, and He is faithful to sustain you.

The enemy seeks to bury you under condemnation, but **Romans 8:1** declares, *“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.”* The shame you feel is not from God. He sees your efforts, your tears, and your trust in Him even in this storm. You tithed faithfully when you had income, and now, in your lack, He will not abandon you. **Philippians 4:19** promises, *“My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”* This includes your rent, your next job, and your peace of mind.

We do, however, gently address the bitterness toward your former workplace. While the treatment you endured was unjust, we must guard our hearts against rooting in offense. **Ephesians 4:31-32** instructs, *“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.”* Forgiveness does not excuse their actions but frees *you* from the weight of unresolved anger. Release this to the Lord, for He is the righteous Judge.

As for your landlord and property managers, we pray that their hearts would indeed be softened—not just with mercy, but with a supernatural *understanding* of your situation. **Proverbs 21:1** reminds us, *“The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires.”* We ask the Lord to turn their hearts toward compassion, to grant you an extension or a payment plan that honors both their needs and your faithfulness. We also pray for divine connections—perhaps a believer in their office, a unexpected source of income, or a door to open for housing assistance beyond what you’ve already sought.

If eviction proceeds, remember: **the Lord is your Dwelling Place.** **Psalm 91:1-2** says, *“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’”* Even if you must transition to new housing, He will go before you. Begin praying now for favor with future landlords, for wisdom in downsizing, and for the body of Christ to rise up in practical support. Do not isolate yourself—reach out to your church or trusted believers for help. Pride has no place in survival, and humility opens doors for God’s provision.

Lastly, we exhort you to **cast your cares fully on Him**, as **1 Peter 5:7** commands: *“casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.”* The anxiety of “where will I go?” is a burden too heavy for you to carry. Give it to Jesus, moment by moment. When fear rises, declare **2 Timothy 1:7**: *“For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.”*

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is weary, ashamed, and fighting to stand. Lord, You see the injustice they’ve endured, the diligence they’ve shown in seeking work, and the humility they’ve displayed in asking for help. We ask You to **intervene supernaturally** in this eviction process. Soften the hearts of the property managers and landlord—let them see this situation through Your eyes. Provide a **miraculous solution**: whether through sudden funds, a payment arrangement, or a divine connection that halts this eviction. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**), and nothing is too hard for You (**Jeremiah 32:17**).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of shame and worthlessness trying to cling to Your child. Replace it with **Your truth**: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (**Psalm 139:14**), chosen and loved (**1 Thessalonians 1:4**), and **more than a conqueror** through Christ (**Romans 8:37**). Heal the wounds from their former workplace—restore their confidence in Your plan for their life. Open doors for **godly employment**, favor in interviews, and opportunities that exceed their expectations.

If eviction cannot be avoided, go before them, Lord. Prepare a place of refuge, provide helpers to assist with the transition, and let this season **testify to Your faithfulness**. Remind them that even in the wilderness, You provided manna (**Exodus 16**), and in the storm, You calmed the waves (**Mark 4:39**). Let them **see Your hand** in every detail.

We declare **Psalm 37:25** over them: *“I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.”* You are their Jehova-Jireh, their Provider. Strengthen their faith, Lord. Let them **worship You in the waiting**, trusting that You are working all things for their good (**Romans 8:28**).

In the mighty name of **Jesus Christ**, our Advocate and Deliverer, we pray. **Amen.**
