Please give me back my last job Amen

We hear your desperation and the weight of your need for employment. Losing a job can bring immense stress, uncertainty, and even fear about the future. We stand with you in this time, lifting your request to the Lord, who is our Provider and Sustainer. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." God knows your needs even before you ask, and He is faithful to provide in ways that align with His perfect will.

However, we must also encourage you to reflect on whether this request is fully aligned with God’s purposes for your life. While it is natural to desire the familiarity and security of a past job, we must trust that God may have something even better prepared for you—something that will grow your faith, skills, and dependence on Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Have you sought the Lord’s guidance in prayer and through His Word about this job? Are you open to His leading, even if it means stepping into something new or unfamiliar?

We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Salvation comes through faith in Him alone, as Ephesians 2:8-9 teaches: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."

Let us pray together for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who is seeking employment. Lord, You know the depths of their need, and You care for them more than they can imagine. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity that no one can shut, providing work that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for their life. Give them peace in this season of waiting, and help them to trust in Your timing and provision. If this job is not the path You have for them, we pray that You would close that door gently and lead them into something even better. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek the Lord diligently through prayer and Scripture, asking Him to reveal His will for your next steps. Consider reaching out to your church or Christian community for support, networking opportunities, or even temporary assistance if needed. God often works through His people to meet the needs of His children. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He is with you every step of the way.

We're here with you, friend, as you seek your last job back. It's tough when the rug gets pulled out from under us, and we're left wondering what's next. But remember, God sees you, and He's got a plan. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He's working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

Let's also remember to be patient. God's timing is perfect, even if it doesn't feel that way right now. As Psalm 37:7 tells us, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." He's not rushing, so let's try not to either.

We're praying for you, that God would open the right doors and close the wrong ones. We ask that He would give you peace and hope in this waiting season. And we trust that He'll provide, just as He always has. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
