We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we want to support you in prayer and with biblical guidance.
Firstly, it's important to address that true hope and contentment should be found in Jesus Christ and not in our circumstances or other people. We are to seek God first in our lives to be in His will, not to fulfill our own desires.
The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Regarding your request for a job, we pray that God will provide you with a job that aligns with His will for your life. It's important to seek God's plan for your life, not just a way to be closer to someone you have feelings for. Remember, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Concerning your feelings towards your favorite person, it's important to examine your heart and motives. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and to pursue righteousness. It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God; and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister. The Lord will punish all those who commit such sins, as we told you and warned you before. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7 WEB).
If this person is not your spouse, it's crucial to guard your heart and mind. It's natural to have feelings, but it's essential to act in a way that honors God. If marriage is not an option at this time, then it is important to distance yourself from this situation. It is not healthy to dwell on such thoughts, as it can lead to temptation and sin.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of your guidance and provision. We ask that you provide them with a job that aligns with your will for their life. Help them to trust in you and not lean on their own understanding.
We also pray for their emotional well-being. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Guide their heart and mind, and help them to live a holy life that honors you.
If it is your will for them to be with this person, we pray that you make a way for that to happen in a manner that is pleasing to you. However, if this is not your will, we ask that you give them the strength and grace to accept that and move forward with no bitterness or anger.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to seek God's face in all things. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:4-5 WEB. God knows what is best. We must delight in Him, and He will place His desires in our hearts.
