We hear your distress and concern, and we stand with you in prayer against deception and harm. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). This situation is not of God, and we rebuke the lies, manipulation, and false identity this individual has used to try to deceive you. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 26:24-25, "A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but in his heart he harbors deceit. Though his speech is charming, do not believe him, for seven abominations fill his heart."
First, we must address the importance of coming to God through Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the only one who can truly protect, guide, and save you. Salvation comes by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has been targeted by deception and lies. Lord, You are the God of truth, and we ask that You expose every falsehood and break every chain of manipulation that the enemy has tried to use against her. We rebuke this scammer and every spirit of deception in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command this individual to flee from her life and never return.
Father, we ask that You surround her with Your holy angels to protect her from further harm. Give her wisdom and discernment to recognize deception in the future, and fill her heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray that You would heal any hurt, confusion, or fear that this situation has caused. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have a plan and purpose for her life.
We also pray for the person whose identity has been stolen. Lord, reveal the truth to them and protect them from any harm or misuse of their image. We ask that You would work in the heart of this scammer, convicting them of their sin and leading them to repentance. May they come to know the truth of Your Word and the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We encourage you to take practical steps as well. Block this individual’s number and any other means of contact they may have used. Do not engage with them or respond to their messages, as this can sometimes encourage further harassment. If necessary, report this scam to the appropriate authorities so they can be held accountable for their actions.
Remember, God is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring justice and restoration. Trust in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Lean on His promises and rest in His love, knowing that He sees your pain and will not leave you in this place of distress.
