We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and offer guidance from Scripture. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your pain and anxiety. The Bible tells us, Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB.
We see your prayer to Jesus which is pleasing to God, however it seems like you may only be asking for the removal of pain. We should also be seeking God's will in our life, even in difficult circumstances, understanding that He uses all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB.
We also need to remember that God desires us to learn and grow from our experiences. We may not be able to undo the past, but we can learn from it and make better choices in the future. God doesn't desire for you to go through this alone and you are part of a community of believers who can help you. Share each other's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 WEB.
We also need to remember that our actions and consequences do not nullify God's love. Romans 8:38-39 WEB says, For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your comfort and guidance. Lord, You know the pain and anxiety they are feeling, and You understand the depth of their concern for others who have been affected by their actions.
We pray for Your healing touch on their life, both physically and emotionally. We ask that You would spare them from further pain, but more importantly, that You would help them to grow in Your Word and to be sanctified through this trial. Help us to learn from our mistakes and to move forward in Your will.
We also pray for those who have been affected by their actions. Lord, provide solace and comfort to them as well. Help them to forgive and to find peace in You.
In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. Help us to trust in You and to rest in Your promises.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
