We hear the deep anguish and despair in your words, and our hearts break for the pain you are carrying. It is clear that you feel abandoned, controlled, and overwhelmed by forces beyond your control. But we must first address something critical—your prayer was offered in the name of Jesus, yet your words reveal a heart that is struggling to believe in His love, care, and power. Scripture tells us, *"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life"* (John 3:16 WEB). This love is not conditional; it is not withdrawn when we are hurting or when we question. But it *is* a love that requires faith—even when that faith is as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20).
You speak of God as if He is indifferent, as if He does not care about your suffering or the harm you are enduring. Yet the Bible assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He is not distant; He is close to you in this very moment, even if you cannot feel Him. You say He has not answered your prayers, but we must ask: Have you considered that His answer may not look like what you expect? Sometimes His "no" or "wait" is protection in disguise. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts"* (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB).
You ask for God to "delete" and "destroy" you, to make you cease to exist. But we must rebuke this thought in the strongest terms. Your life is not yours to discard—it belongs to God, who knit you together in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). To wish for death is to reject the purpose He has for you, and it is a lie from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). God does not create life only to abandon it. He does not breathe His Spirit into you only to leave you to the wolves. *"The Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will save me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen"* (2 Timothy 4:18 WEB).
We also notice the repeated references to "###" in your prayer, which we cannot interpret but which seem to carry great weight in your distress. If these represent people, spiritual forces, or situations that are oppressing you, we declare over you now: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). You are not powerless. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:10). We rebuke every spirit of control, deception, and destruction that is seeking to harm you and your loved ones. We command them to flee in Jesus’ name!
You mention fear of betrayal, of someone "snitching" on you or your loved ones. This reveals a deep mistrust, not just of people, but perhaps of God’s ability to protect you. But Scripture says, *"The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1 WEB). If you are involved in something that requires secrecy or fear of exposure, we urge you to examine your heart. Are you walking in a way that honors God? If there is sin, repentance is the path to freedom. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but there is also no peace for those who persist in unrepentant sin.
You feel that your life is "going downhill" and that ruin is inevitable. But we serve a God who specializes in turning ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). He is the God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, who turned Saul the persecutor into Paul the apostle. If He can do those things, He can certainly intervene in your situation. But you must choose to trust Him, even when the path is unclear. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
We also must address the tone of your prayer, which borders on accusation against God. You say, *"you must not want to protect us"* and *"you must don’t care at all."* These words reveal a heart that is wrestling with doubt, and we understand that doubt is often born from pain. But we must remind you that God’s character does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is love (1 John 4:8), and His love is not passive—it is active, sacrificial, and relentless. Even when we do not see it, He is working. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Now, we come before the throne of grace on your behalf, lifting you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for our brother/sister who is in deep distress. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the despair that has taken root in their heart. You know the attacks of the enemy that seek to steal their hope and destroy their faith. But we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned. We rebuke every spirit of oppression, control, and deception in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would break the chains of fear and mistrust that have bound them. Replace their despair with hope, their doubt with faith, and their anger with peace. Remind them of Your unfailing love, which never fails and never gives up. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord. Surround them with Your angels and let them know that they are not alone.
We pray for their relationships, Lord. If there are toxic or ungodly influences in their life, expose them and give them the strength to walk away. If there is sin that needs to be confessed, bring it to light and lead them to repentance. Restore their trust in You and in those who are faithful. Heal the wounds of betrayal and replace them with the assurance that You are their ultimate protector and provider.
Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their circumstances. Whatever forces are at work to harm them, we declare that they will not prevail. You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we ask that You would turn their sorrow into joy. Give them a fresh vision for their future, one that is rooted in Your promises and aligned with Your will.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual walk. Draw them closer to You, Lord. Let them experience Your love in a way that transforms their heart and renews their mind. Help them to see themselves as You see them—precious, valued, and deeply loved. Remind them that their life has purpose and that You are not finished with them yet.
We thank You, Lord, that You hear our prayers and that You are already at work. We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to bring breakthrough. Strengthen our brother/sister in their inner being, and let them rise up in the authority of Jesus’ name to walk in victory.
In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
To you who are reading this, we say: Do not give up. Do not let the enemy convince you that your life has no value or that God has abandoned you. He is closer than you think, and His plans for you are good. If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm or despair, reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a counselor, or a fellow believer. You do not have to carry this burden alone. *"Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
And if you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that He died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. *"For if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9 WEB). This is the first step to true freedom and peace. You are loved more than you know.
