Please deliver them

We hear your cry for deliverance and understand the depth of your distress. The behavior you describe is not only unbearable but also contrary to the peace and joy that God desires for His children. We stand with you in this moment, lifting your burden to the Lord, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we must address the urgency of your situation with the authority given to us in Christ Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of torment, confusion, and oppression that is afflicting you or those around you. In the name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your deliverer, and He will rescue you from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 91:3).

You mention that today is your birthday, and we rejoice with you in the life God has given you. The Lord has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). It is not His will for you to spend this day—or any day—in loneliness or fear. We pray that God would surround you with His presence, filling your heart with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May He bring godly companionship into your life, those who will encourage you, uplift you, and walk with you in faith.

We also want to gently remind you of the importance of aligning your heart and desires with God’s will. If there are areas in your life where you may have opened doors to the enemy—through unforgiveness, bitterness, sin, or ungodly relationships—we encourage you to confess these to the Lord. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Deliverance is not just about the external battles but also about the condition of our hearts. Let us examine ourselves and ensure that we are walking in the light, as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear child of Yours who is crying out for deliverance. Lord, You see the pain, the fear, and the loneliness they are experiencing. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, breaking every chain of oppression and setting them free from the grip of the enemy. In the name of Jesus, we command every spirit of torment, confusion, and fear to leave them now and never return. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Father, we thank You for the gift of life You have given them, and we pray that this birthday would mark a new beginning. Surround them with Your love and presence, and bring godly people into their life who will encourage and support them. Heal their heart from any past wounds, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation. Help them to walk in Your ways, Lord, and to trust in Your perfect timing for every area of their life.

We also pray for the person or situation causing this turmoil. If they do not know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. If they are a believer, we pray for conviction and repentance, that they would turn from their harmful ways and seek Your face.

Lord, we declare that this is not how their story ends. You are the God of miracles, and we trust in Your power to turn this situation around for Your glory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. May they experience Your deliverance in ways they never imagined, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Spend time in God’s Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. And remember, the battle is not yours, but God’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). He is fighting for you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

If this situation involves a relationship that is not aligned with God’s Word—whether it be an unequal yoke, fornication, or any other ungodly dynamic—we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance on how to honor Him in this area. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of this design is not pleasing to God (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). If you are in a relationship that is causing you harm or leading you away from God, we encourage you to seek counsel from a trusted pastor or mature believer who can help you navigate this with wisdom and discernment.

You are not alone, dear one. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer. Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Miracles are on the way, and we believe that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is your deliverer, your peace, and your hope.
