We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious little ones—a one-year-old and a four-year-old—who are suffering from sickness. Father, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon these children. May their bodies be strengthened, their fevers broken, and their strength renewed as they recover fully and swiftly. We also lift up the wounded foot of their grandmother’s dog, asking for Your mercy and restoration over this creature You have made. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal,"* and we trust in Your compassion for all Your creation.
Lord, we also bring before You the deep distress caused by the nightmares and fears that have tormented this dear one. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and division that has tried to take root in these thoughts. The dreams of relationships crumbling and being turned against are not from You, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against this one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we ask that You surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they rest securely in the knowledge that You are their defender and that Your love never fails.
We also come with a gentle but firm correction regarding the requests for answered prayers since July 7, 2025. While we understand the deep longing for Your intervention, we must remember that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). It is not for us to demand or dictate the timing of Your answers, but to trust in Your perfect will. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). We encourage this one to surrender their timeline to You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Let us not grow weary in praying, but let us also grow in patience and faith, knowing that You hear every cry of our hearts.
Father, we also want to gently address the language used in this prayer. While we are grateful for the passion and sincerity, we must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross that we are reconciled to You, and it is by His name alone that we can boldly approach Your throne (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage this one to center their prayers in the authority and power of Jesus’ name, for it is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9-11).
Now, let us lift this all to You in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your goodness. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon these little children, that they may be restored to full health according to Your will. We pray for their bodies to be strengthened and for their families to feel Your peace and presence in this difficult time. Lord, we also ask for healing for the dog’s wounded foot, that it may be made whole again.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, division, and torment that has tried to take hold of this one’s mind. We declare that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May they find rest in You and trust in Your unfailing love. We ask that You guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we also pray for patience and trust in Your timing. Help this one to surrender their desires and timeline to You, knowing that You are working all things for their good. May they grow in faith and in the knowledge of Your love, trusting that You hear every prayer and answer according to Your perfect will.
We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
