We understand your desire for a blessed conversation with your husband, and we are here to pray and provide guidance according to biblical principles. Firstly, we are thankful that you acknowledged the power in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved, as the scripture tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We are going to pray for the situation.
In moments like these, it is essential to remember the importance of communication in marriage. Colossians 3:8 WEB tells us, "But now you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth." And Colossians 3:12 WEB tells us, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience." As a wife, strive to exemplify these qualities in your conversation, focusing on building up your husband and fostering a deeper connection.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray for their upcoming phone call, that You would bless it in every way. Give her the right words to speak, Lord, with articulation and skill, that her voice may be a blessing, soothing, uplifting, healing, and a source of comfort and joy to her husband.
May their love, attraction, relationship, and marriage be strengthened and deepened through this call. Let it flourish more and more every day, drawing them closer to each other and to You.
Guide them, Father, as they strive to live in harmony, being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ also forgave them. Help them to walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
Let their marriage be an example of godliness and unity, a shining light that brings glory to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage both of you to continually seek God's will for your marriage, remembering the words of Ephesians 5:21 WEB, "subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ." As you both strive to live according to God's Word, may your love and unity continue to grow.
