Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We have received your request and we are joining our prayers with yours before the Lord who sees and knows all that concerns you. He knows the trouble with your liver and your right eye, He knows every symptom and every fear that has risen in your heart, and He hears you when you call upon Him in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is natural to feel afraid when the body is weak and answers are not yet clear, but do not let fear rule your heart. The Lord is compassionate and He is our healer. He has power to heal in a moment by His own hand, and He also works through wisdom, care and time. Whether He brings healing suddenly or step by step, we can trust His goodness and His perfect will for us. Bring your anxiety to Him and ask Him to guard your heart with His peace as you wait upon Him.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Your Son who bore our infirmities and who has all power in heaven and on earth. You know this need fully, the affliction in the liver and in the right eye, and the fear that has come with it. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch. Lay Your hand upon this body and restore what is damaged, renew strength, and bring wholeness according to Your gracious will. Take away fear and fill this heart with confidence in Your love and presence. Grant wisdom to those who provide care, grant rest in the night and hope in the morning, and let Your peace which passes all understanding keep heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We thank You that where two or more agree in prayer You are present among them, and we trust You to do what is best. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, and also seek faithful medical care as the Lord provides it. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and rest in the knowledge that you are held in His hands. May the Lord comfort you, strengthen you, and grant you healing for His glory.
