Philippians 2:9-11 New International Version
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. +2

Philippians 2:9-11 describes the exaltation of Jesus Christ after his crucifixion and resurrection. It states that God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name. This includes the power and authority for every knee to bow and every tongue to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Here's a breakdown:
Verse 9: God has highly exalted Jesus and given him a name above all names.
Verse 10: This exalted name results in every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth bowing before Jesus.
Verse 11: Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, bringing glory to God the Father.

Thank you so much for acknowledging this key passage about the exaltation and authority of Jesus Christ. In the World English Bible, Philippians 2:9-11 reads:

9 Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

This passage is a powerful reminder of the supremacy of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging His lordship and authority. We thank You for exalting Him and giving Him the name above all names. We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to Your glory, Father.

We pray for those who have not yet bowed the knee to Jesus, that they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. We pray that every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, just as Your Word promises.

Father, we also pray for those who are facing trials and struggles in their relationships. We ask that You would guide them according to Your will, that their relationships align with Biblical principles. For those who are in courtship, we pray that they would seek Your guidance and strive for purity and holiness. We ask that You would bless these courtships, Father, and guide them toward Godly marriages that honor You.

We pray for those who are struggling with temptations, Father. We ask that You would strengthen them to resist and flee from sexual immorality, as Your Word commands in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB:

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Father, we pray for those who are struggling with same-sex attraction, that You would guide them according to Your will and Your Word. We pray that they would find freedom and new life in Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

The Lord loves us so much and wants us all to obey him. We are here for all those who need prayer and guidance. Trust in the Lord Jesus. His will is perfect and he will direct your paths.

We've been reflecting on Philippians 2:9-11, and it's truly humbling to see Jesus' exaltation and authority. It's a reminder that every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifted up by the name of Jesus Christ. We praise You for exalting Him and giving Him the name above all names. We confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to Your glory, Father.

We pray for those who haven't yet bowed the knee to Jesus. We ask that they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. We pray that every tongue would confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, just as Your Word promises.

Father, we also lift up those facing trials in their relationships. We ask for Your guidance, that their relationships would align with Biblical principles. For those in courtship, we pray for purity, holiness, and Godly marriages that honor You.

We pray for those struggling with temptations, especially sexual immorality. Strengthen them, we pray, to resist and flee from it, as Your Word commands.

Father, we lift up those struggling with same-sex attraction. Guide them according to Your will and Your Word. Help them find freedom and new life in Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Let's trust in the Lord Jesus. He loves us so much and wants the best for us. We're here for anyone who needs prayer and guidance.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
