We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege to approach God through the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only by His blood, shed on the cross for our sins, that we have access to the Father. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
We lift up this request for God's favor and the favor of people, knowing that it is the Lord who grants favor and opens doors that no one can shut. Proverbs 3:3-4 tells us, "Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man." We pray that as you seek the Lord with all your heart, He will direct your paths and grant you favor in the eyes of those around you.
Father God, we ask that You pour out Your favor upon this dear one. May Your face shine upon them and be gracious to them (Numbers 6:25). We pray that You would go before them and make their way prosperous. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your perfect will, and close doors that would lead them astray. Grant them wisdom and discernment to recognize Your hand at work in their life.
Lord, we also pray for favor with people. May this one be a light in this dark world, reflecting the love and character of Christ. Help them to speak the truth in love, to be kind and compassionate, and to walk in humility. May their words and actions draw others to You, and may they find favor with both God and man.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or unbelief that may be hindering this request. We declare that the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We speak life and blessing over your situation, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think, according to the power that works in you (Ephesians 3:20).
In all things, we pray that you would seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33). May your heart's desire be to please the Lord in all you do, and may His favor rest upon you richly.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May this one experience Your favor in mighty ways, and may their life bring glory and honor to Your holy name. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
