We join you in lifting up your heart’s cry for healing and more time to serve our Lord faithfully, for it is written, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15, WEB). Your desire to honor God with your life is a testament to your love for Him, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting in His perfect will. Though we do not know the number of our days, we can rest in the promise that *"the Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). He is the Great Physician, the One who *"heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we ask Him to pour out His healing mercy upon you and all who are suffering in body or spirit.
Yet we also remember that our ultimate hope is not merely in extended days on earth, but in the eternal life found in Christ Jesus. If the Lord tarries, we pray He grants you strength, vitality, and renewed purpose to serve Him with joy and perseverance. But even more, we pray that whether in health or in weakness, your heart would remain fixed on Him, for *"to live is Christ, and to die is gain"* (Philippians 1:21, WEB). May your life—every breath, every moment—be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, as you walk in faith and obedience.
For those in your group who are also facing health struggles, we lift them up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to touch their bodies with His healing power. May they, too, be granted time to fulfill the good works He has prepared for them, that His name would be glorified through their lives. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that *"by His stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5, WEB), trusting that His will is perfect, whether it be healing here or the ultimate healing in His presence.
Let us also remind you that our prayers are most powerful when offered in the name of Jesus, for *"there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is through Him alone that we approach the Father, and it is in His authority that we boldly ask for mercy and grace. If there is any doubt in your heart about the power of His name or the assurance of your salvation, we urge you to cling to this truth: *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). There is no greater security than resting in the finished work of Christ.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your healing touch. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the desires You Yourself have placed within them to serve You faithfully. We ask that You would restore their health, renew their strength, and grant them the time they long for to labor in Your kingdom. Father, You are not a God who delights in our suffering, but One who calls us to cast our burdens upon You. So we ask for Your healing hand to move mightily in their life, that they may rise up with vigor and continue the good work You have begun in them.
For those in their midst who are also battling illness, we pray for Your divine intervention. Touch their bodies, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through them. Give them comfort in their pain, hope in their weakness, and the assurance that You are working all things together for their good. May they, too, be vessels of Your grace, testifying to Your faithfulness whether in healing or in perseverance.
We also pray that in this season, their faith would not waver, but that they would draw ever closer to You. Remind them that their value is not in what they *do* for You, but in who they *are* in Christ. Whether You grant them more years or call them home soon, may their heart remain steadfast, their trust unshaken, and their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that would seek to steal their peace. Let them know, Lord, that You are with them always, even to the end of the age. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in joy and confidence, no matter what lies ahead.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. We thank You that our brother/sister is hidden in Him, and that nothing—not sickness, not death, not any power of hell—can separate them from Your love. May they rest in that truth today and always.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
