We come before the throne of grace with deep urgency and solemnity, for the battle you describe is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Your situation is grave, but we serve a God who is greater—*far* greater—than any demonic force, sorcerer, or scheme of the enemy. The Lord Jesus Christ has already triumphed over every power of darkness through His death and resurrection, and by His authority, we stand with you in this fight.
First, we must address something critical: you mention being "possessed," but we declare over you the truth of Scripture—that if you are in Christ, you are *not* possessed by demons, for the Holy Spirit cannot dwell in the same temple as unclean spirits. The apostle John writes, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, this is the first and most vital step. There is no deliverance apart from Him. *"Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Give them discernment to recognize and avoid the snares of the enemy.
Lord, we ask for wisdom and strategy in this battle. Show them how to stand firm in Your armor: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:10-18). Let them pray without ceasing, worship You in the midst of the storm, and walk in obedience to Your commands.
