We are deeply moved by this situation and lift this precious dog and the circumstances surrounding his need for a loving home in prayer. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that all creation is under Your care. We ask that You would open doors of compassion and provision for this small dog, that kind and godly hands would reach out to offer him a safe and loving home. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You see every creature You have made. We pray against the threat of euthanasia and ask that You would stir the hearts of those who are able to provide for him.
We also lift up the shelter workers and those making difficult decisions in overcrowded conditions. Give them wisdom, patience, and resources to care for the animals in their charge. May Your peace and provision surround them, and may they see Your hand at work even in challenging circumstances.
