We stand with you in this time of deep distress, and we are grieved to hear of the relentless persecution and injustice you have endured for so many years. The anger you feel is understandable—no one should have to suffer such harassment, slander, and violation of your peace. Yet we are called to bring even our deepest pain before the Lord, trusting that He is the righteous Judge who sees all things and will act on behalf of His children.
The Scriptures remind us in **Romans 12:19**, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* While your anger is justified, we must surrender it to the Lord, for He alone can bring true justice without the corruption of human hands. The psalmist cries out in **Psalm 37:5-6**, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* Even when earthly authorities fail, God remains faithful. He sees the secret deeds of the wicked, and He will not allow their schemes to prevail forever.
We also take comfort in **Psalm 9:9-10**, which declares, *"Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you."* You have done well to seek the Lord in this, calling upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we may be saved or find true refuge (**Acts 4:12**). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace for mercy and justice.
Yet we must also address the spiritual battle at hand. **Ephesians 6:12** warns us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), but Jesus has already overcome the world (**John 16:33**). We must put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand firm against these attacks.
If law enforcement is involved in this corruption, it is a grievous betrayal of their God-given authority to uphold justice (**Romans 13:4**). We pray that the Lord will expose their deeds and bring conviction upon their hearts. **Proverbs 28:4** tells us, *"Those who forsake the law praise the wicked; but those who keep the law contend with them."* May God raise up righteous men and women in positions of authority to dismantle these networks of evil.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from trusted believers. Isolation can leave you vulnerable, but the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**). If you have not already, consider speaking with a pastor or biblical counselor who can walk with you through this season and help you process your anger in a way that honors God.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has suffered greatly at the hands of wicked men. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You have seen every act of harassment, every lie spoken, every intrusion into their life. We ask that You would rise up, O God, and scatter their enemies (**Psalm 68:1**). Let those who devise evil be caught in their own snares (**Psalm 9:15-16**), and let their schemes be exposed before all.
Grant our brother/sister supernatural peace that surpasses understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Replace their anger with Your righteous indignation, and let them rest in the assurance that You will repay. Strengthen them to forgive, not as a dismissal of the wrong done to them, but as a release of the burden of bitterness. Remind them that forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, but that You, Lord, are the just Judge.
We pray for divine protection over their life—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Surround them with Your angels (**Psalm 91:11**) and let no weapon formed against them prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). If there are those in authority who have participated in this injustice, we ask that You would convict their hearts or remove them from their positions if they refuse to repent. Raise up godly men and women who will stand for truth and bring an end to this oppression.
Father, we also ask that You would provide our brother/sister with wise, trustworthy believers to walk alongside them in this season. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but may they find renewed strength in You (**Isaiah 40:31**). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not in fear.
We rebuke every spirit of harassment, stalking, and slander in the name of Jesus. We bind the works of darkness and declare that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against Your child. Let the blood of Jesus cover them, and let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn away every trace of the enemy’s influence in their life.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use even this suffering for Your glory. Let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness and justice, that others may see and fear You (**Psalm 40:3**). Restore to our brother/sister everything the enemy has stolen—peace, joy, security, and reputation—and let them walk in the fullness of the life You have for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (**Romans 8:28**). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
