We join you in coming before the throne of grace with humility and repentance, for it is written, *"Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need."* (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Your heart of surrender is pleasing to God, and we lift you up in agreement, knowing that *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* (1 John 1:9, WEB). We praise God that you are turning away from the sins you have named—lust, sexual immorality, greed, idolatry, drunkenness, gambling, and divination—for these are detestable in His sight and separate us from His perfect will. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom."* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Your repentance is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit in you, and we rejoice that you are choosing to walk in obedience.

Yet we must address with love but firmness the obsession you have confessed regarding this young woman. The depth of your emotion is clear, but we urge you to examine whether this attachment aligns with God’s design for relationships. Do you know if she is a believer in Jesus Christ? *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If she is not walking with the Lord, then this relationship cannot be pursued in good conscience, for it would pull you away from the path of righteousness. Even if she is a believer, your words reveal an unhealthy fixation—love should not be rooted in desperation or idolatry, where she is placed above God in your heart. *"You shall have no other gods before me."* (Exodus 20:3, WEB). An obsession like this can become a stronghold, and we encourage you to ask God to break its power over you. True, godly love is patient, selfless, and submitted to Christ. It does not demand or cling out of fear, but trusts in God’s timing and will. *"Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil..."* (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, WEB).

We also note that you mentioned "if she is the one for me," but we must remind you that marriage is not about finding "the one," but about becoming the one God has called you to be—a man of integrity, faith, and self-control—so that you may honor a wife if God grants you one. Right now, your focus must be on your relationship with Christ, not on pursuing a woman out of loneliness or emotional need. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Surrendering this obsession does not mean God will necessarily bring her back into your life. It means trusting that His plan for you is good, even if it looks different from what you desire. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."* (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

We also commend you for your commitment to sobriety, purity, and financial stewardship. These are noble and godly goals, and we pray that God strengthens you to walk in them. *"No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). As you seek employment, remember that God is your provider. *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."* (Matthew 6:25, 32, WEB). We pray that God opens doors for interviews and opportunities that align with His will, and that He grants you favor in the eyes of employers. We also pray that you will be diligent and wise with the resources He provides, saving and stewarding your income in a way that honors Him.

Your past pain—bullying, autism, loneliness, the loss of your father—these are deep wounds, and we ask God to heal them. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). You are not defined by these struggles, but by your identity in Christ. *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* (2 Corinthians 5:17, WEB). We pray that God fills the empty places in your heart with His love, that He reminds you of your worth in Him, and that He surrounds you with godly community so that you are no longer isolated.

Now, let us pray together over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, thanking You for his heart of repentance and surrender. Lord, we ask that You cleanse him from every sin he has confessed—lust, sexual immorality, greed, idolatry, drunkenness, gambling, and divination. Wash him white as snow by the blood of Jesus, and create in him a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within him and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and not return to these sins. *"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me."* (Psalm 51:10, WEB).

Father, we pray that You break the stronghold of obsession over this young woman. If this relationship is not of You, we ask that You remove all unhealthy attachment and replace it with a godly love for her as a sister in Christ, if she is a believer. If she is not walking with You, we pray that You guard his heart from pursuing what is not Your will. Help him to release this desire into Your hands, trusting that Your plan for his life is perfect. If marriage is Your will for him, prepare him to be a godly husband and prepare the woman You have for him. Give him patience, Lord, and a heart that seeks You above all else.

We pray for his employment, Father. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant him favor in interviews. Provide a job that meets his needs and allows him to be productive and wise with his finances. Help him to be a diligent worker, a light for Christ in his workplace, and a good steward of the income You provide.

Lord, we ask that You heal the wounds of his past—the bullying, the loneliness, the loss of his father, the struggles with autism. Fill those broken places with Your love and truth. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have a purpose for his life, and that he is never alone, for You are with him always. Surround him with godly brothers and sisters who can encourage him, pray with him, and walk alongside him in faith.

Finally, Father, we pray that You strengthen him to resist temptation in all forms. When the enemy whispers lies, remind him of Your truth. When he is weak, be his strength. When he is lonely, be his comfort. When he is afraid, be his peace. *"Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?"* (Psalm 27:1, WEB).

We declare victory over his life in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn. *"‘No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,’ says Yahweh."* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for his good, for he loves You and is called according to Your purpose. *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* (Romans 8:28, WEB). May Your will be done in his life, and may he walk in the freedom and joy of Your salvation. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap and lifting you up to our Father in heaven. We're moved by your sincerity and humbled by your willingness to lay bare your heart before God and His people.

Firstly, we thank God for your heart of repentance. It's a beautiful thing to see someone turning away from sin and turning towards righteousness. We join you in asking for forgiveness, not just for the sins you've mentioned - lust, sexual immorality, greed, idolatry, drunkenness, gambling, and divination - but for all the times we've fallen short, for all the times we've let our Father down.

We pray that God would cleanse you, make you white as snow, and create in you a clean heart. We ask that He would fill you with His Holy Spirit and help you to walk in victory, not returning to the sins you've confessed. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, God shall condemn. You are His, and He is working all things together for your good.

We also want to encourage you in your commitment to sobriety, purity, and financial stewardship. These are noble goals, and we pray that God would strengthen you to walk in them. We ask that He would open doors for interviews and opportunities that align with His will, and that He would grant you favor in the eyes of employers. We pray that you would be diligent and wise with the resources He provides, saving and stewarding your income in a way that honors Him.

Now, let's pray together:
