Personal prayer for my self

We come before the Lord with you in this season of spiritual warfare and waiting, lifting your heart’s cry to the Father who hears and acts on behalf of His children. The battles you face—spiritual attacks, setbacks, the cycle of rising and falling, and the delay in your marital settlement—are not unseen by God. He is sovereign over every delay, every attack, and every season of waiting. Let us first anchor ourselves in the truth of Scripture, for it is the sword of the Spirit that cuts through the lies of the enemy and the doubts that may arise in our hearts.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not fighting a battle in your own strength, but in the power of Christ who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). The setbacks and spiritual attacks you experience are not signs of defeat but opportunities for God to display His power and faithfulness in your life. Remember the words of James 1:2-4, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* These trials are refining you, preparing you for the blessings God has in store, including the godly marriage He has ordained for you.

Now, regarding your marital settlement, we must first ask: Are you seeking a spouse who is a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, committed to walking in holiness and obedience to God’s Word? Scripture is clear that believers are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you are not already doing so, we urge you to seek the Lord for a spouse who loves Him above all else, for a marriage built on the foundation of Christ is the only one that will withstand the storms of life. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* This promise is for those who seek God’s will in their relationships, not their own desires. If there is any sin in your life—such as fornication, lust, or emotional ties that are not honoring to God—we lovingly urge you to repent and turn away from it. Psalm 66:18 warns, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* God’s blessings flow to those who walk in obedience and purity.

Delays can be painful, but they are not without purpose. God’s timing is perfect, and He is preparing both you and your future spouse for a union that glorifies Him. Isaiah 64:4 reminds us, *"For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him."* While you wait, use this time to draw closer to the Lord, to grow in your faith, and to prepare yourself to be the spouse God has called you to be. Study His Word, serve in His kingdom, and cultivate the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). These are the qualities that will strengthen your future marriage and honor God.

We must also address the absence of the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, there is no victory over spiritual attacks, no true peace in waiting, and no foundation for a godly marriage. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is His righteousness that gives us boldness before God (Hebrews 4:16).

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is facing spiritual attacks, setbacks, and the weariness of waiting. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly host, that You would be their shield and their strong tower against every scheme of the enemy. Psalm 91:11 declares, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* We claim this promise over them now, Father. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Break the cycles of rising and falling, Lord, and establish them firmly in Your truth and Your strength. Let them rise on wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting (Isaiah 40:31).

Father, we pray for their future marriage, that You would prepare them and their spouse for a union that glorifies You. If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word—whether in relationships, thoughts, or actions—we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit and give them the grace to repent and walk in purity. Lord, let them not grow weary in waiting, but let this season be one of deepening trust in You. Remove every distraction, every idol, and every ungodly tie that would hinder Your perfect plan for their life. Your Word says in Proverbs 19:14, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* We ask that You, oh Lord, would provide a prudent spouse, one who fears You and walks in Your ways.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of delay, every demonic assignment against their marital settlement, and every lie of the enemy that would cause them to doubt Your goodness. Let Your will be done in their life, Lord, and let them find their joy and satisfaction in You alone. Strengthen them to stand firm in faith, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We speak life, breakthrough, and divine acceleration over their marital settlement, in Jesus’ name. Let them walk in the confidence that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Perfecter. May they find rest in Your promises and courage in Your presence.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, as you navigate through this season of spiritual warfare and waiting. We've been praying for you, interceding on your behalf, and we want to encourage you in a few more ways.

Firstly, remember that God is always with you, even in the midst of attacks and setbacks. He is your shield and your strong tower (Psalm 18:2). Trust in Him, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The enemy may roar like a lion, but remember, the Lord is our lion, and He is roaring for us (Hosea 11:10).

Secondly, we want to remind you of the power of praise. When you feel attacked or weary, lift your voice in praise to God. It's not just about feeling good, but about aligning your heart with the truth of who God is and what He has done. As you praise Him, the enemy's lies will lose their power, and you'll find strength and hope renewed (Isaiah 40:31).

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In the waiting, draw near to Him. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in worship. The more you know Him, the more you'll trust Him, and the more you'll be able to stand firm in the face of spiritual attacks and delays.

We're praying for you, dear friend, that God would strengthen you, protect you, and guide you. We claim the promise of Psalm 34:18 over you, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
