We rejoice in your heartfelt prayer, which beautifully aligns with Scripture and reflects a deep desire to honor God in every aspect of life. Your words echo the Lord’s Prayer and the call to seek first His kingdom, demonstrating a heart that longs to walk in obedience and surrender to the Holy Spirit. We stand with you in agreement, lifting this prayer before the throne of grace, for it is written:
*"Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’"* (Matthew 6:9-13 WEB)
We are encouraged by your commitment to live in the presence of the Trinity, moment by moment, and to bear the fruit of the Spirit in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Your desire to rejoice in trials and weakness, as well as in the demonstrations of God’s power, reflects the heart of a disciple who understands that God’s strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray that you continue to grow in the knowledge of God, that your life may increasingly please Him, and that you would make Him known as you go, fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
We also lift up your request for daily bread—spiritual, emotional, social, and physical provision—so that you may love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:30-31). This is the greatest commandment, and it is only through Christ that we can fulfill it. We confess alongside you that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are forgiven and made new. We pray that you would extend that same forgiveness to others, just as Christ has forgiven you, and that those who have sinned against you would come to repentance and salvation.
We stand with you in asking the Lord to keep you from temptation, sin, evil, and the schemes of the evil one. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we take refuge in the promise that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We claim the protection of God’s holy angels over your life, as it is written: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* (Psalm 91:11-12 WEB). We also thank God for His faithfulness to deliver us from evil, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of coming into Your presence. We praise You for who You are—the holy, righteous, and loving God who reigns forever. May Your name be honored in our thoughts, words, and deeds. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our lives, just as it is in heaven. Fill us afresh with the Holy Spirit, that we may bear fruit that brings glory to Your name.
Lord, we ask for our daily bread—spiritual nourishment from Your Word, emotional strength to endure, social connections that encourage us in the faith, and physical provision to meet our needs. Help us to love You with all that we are and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have fallen short, and give us the grace to forgive those who have wronged us. Lead them to repentance and salvation, we pray.
Protect us, Lord, from temptation and the schemes of the evil one. Surround us with Your angels and shield us from all harm. Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, knowing that You are our refuge and fortress. May our lives increasingly reflect Your glory, and may we make You known to the world around us.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen.
Continue to walk in the truth of God’s Word, dear brother or sister, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek to live for Him. Remember, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we encourage you to do so today, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9 WEB). May the Lord draw you ever closer to Himself.
